Even with the coffee shop downstairs, the silence is suffocating. Donnie spends his days in the shop while I hang out up here when I’m not in class or in the studio. I’ve tried leaving the TV on for noise, but it doesn’t help. I need my best friend.

Me:

Want to come over to hang out after class?

Lucky:

Let me ask Daddy

Me:

Or maybe Spence can take us to DC?

Lucky:

OOOOOOOO

I’ll say pretty please

That always works

The smile on my face dies as I look away from the phone toward the closet where I hid my kitten gear. I’ve only ever been in the playroom once without Toby. Can Ihandle it without my guard pup to keep others away from me?

My phone vibrates next to me and I pick it up to see what the response is.

Spencer:

I think we all need a trip to the {devil emoji}

Don says he will bring you after he’s done closing up

Send me a txt to let me know when u get there

I’ll leave word with Clarence if we beat u there

I shoot to my feet, clutching the phone in my hand.

DONNIE WILL TAKE ME?!

Since when is my roommate into kink?

Since when is he a member of the Devil’s Club?

Does he know about me?

Flopping back on the bed, I sigh and realize I have an entire hour to worry about this before my apparently kinky roommate gets upstairs to pick me up for a trip to the BDSM club.

DONNIE

After the threats of dismemberment and subsequent crash course in all things kitten play that I received immediately following Shiloh becoming my roommate, Eric and Matt decided to take me their regular BDSM club, ironically named The Devil’s Club. While I was getting the newbie tour from their neighbor Theo, we ran into Spencer and Lucky. It was an awkward few minutes until I told Lucky that he looked adorable and that I had a new coloring book for him at the shop whenever he might need it.

After that, everything else seemed to move along quite smoothly. The individual rooms were… let’s say interesting. I’m not sure how much enjoyment I would get out of public urination or showering. I had enough of that playing hockey, and reminders of that time in my life are generally not bringing about good reactions for me.

The age play area looked like a kid’s paradise. As soonas we reached the doorway, Lucky kissed his Daddy and ran off to play. Theo chuckled while Spencer chased after his boy. Eric just smiled indulgently as if he was a doting uncle. But the next stop was a room that took my breath away—the pet room.

Watching the pups play on the obstacle course and fetch and run around was exhilarating. I knew immediately that this is the room I belong in. Even though I have no desire to run around, I know that I want to be the one to take care of the pets in this room, maybe one or two in particular.
