I chuckle at the string of happy emojis that go on for the next minute. If Eli is the one bringing home a stray, they must be in bad shape. But there isn’t any other group of guys out there that I would ever trust to help as much as the ones I share a house with.

“We are now starting the boarding process for flight nineteen twenty two to Pittsburgh at gate …”

They just called for boarding. I’ll see you guys in the morning.

Eric:

You need a pick up?

Me:

Nah, get some sleep after your set.

I’ll catch a rideshare
