“Very. But don’t start planning the wedding yet,” I tease.

Thursday, April 24th

The moment I wake up, I practically jump out of bed hoping there is a surprise outside my door. Opening it, I see my painting from our date along with a little gift box.Little boxes. That typically means something really nice. A delicate, gold, chain bracelet with a little, gold bunny charm is inside. Is this real gold?Holy shit!

Whether it is or not, it doesn’t matter. This is the sweetest gift I’ve ever received. I clasp the bracelet on my wrist, admiring how it looks. It’s perfect.Chad is a nice boy I think, chuckling to myself.

I immediately call my sister.I have to tell her.

“Morning,” she answers.

“So … I know you have a few thoughts about Chad, but he’s the sweetest guy ever.”

“Why do you say that?”

“He’s been leaving little presents for me, and this morning, I found the cutest bracelet at my door.”

“Bracelet?! Who knew he was such a romantic? That’s cute.”

“Yeah, it’s got a little bunny charm, which is his nickname for me.”

“Anna and the Easter Bunny.” She laughs. “Aren’t you happy I pushed you?”

“Pushed me?”

“To take a photo with him … to go to High Five.”

“Thank you.” I roll my eyes, even though she’s right. I needed the push. Megan sighs. “What?”

“This is really great … I’m just missing my guy.”

“Only two more months to go,” I encourage.

“It can’t go by fast enough, but I’m excited for you and happy you also sound very eager about all of this.”

“I am. Chad’s making me really happy.”

“As long as he keeps making you this happy, then I don’t have any issues with him. But the second he does something …” Megan giggles.

“You will key his truck. I know.”

I squeal, staring at the bracelet, loving it so much.

“When are you seeing him again?” she asks.

“Tonight.”

“Have fun.”

I’m going to have too much fun.But I am not telling Megan that. “I will. Bye.”

I decide to call Chad instead of texting him. This gift is so sweet, and I want him to hear how much I like it.

“You’re up early,” he answers.

“Your little bunny loves this bracelet.”
