Reece chuckled and kissed my thigh. “Let’s get you settled.”

He pulled the bedding out from under me, helped me scoot until my head hit the pillow, then lay down next to me. I was a boneless heap, but he wrapped me in his arms and pulled me back against him.

Naked except for my sleep tank, I cuddled closer and passed out.

“Wake up,wifey. I have to go to morning skate.”

My eyes flew open to see Reece leaning over me, fully dressed. “What time is it?”

“Early. You can go back to sleep in a second, but unless you want someone to see me climbing out your window, you need to walk me out of here.”

I blinked a couple of times before my brain fully caught up. House rules required any guests to be escorted in and out. I’d mentioned the rule to him when we first started with all this, so I was surprised he remembered.

“Right.” I threw the covers back and belatedly remembered I was naked from the waist down.

Reece’s eyes tracked downward, and a self-satisfied smirk made me want to hit him with a pillow. “Might want to put on some shorts.”

I flipped him off and headed toward the bathroom while he laughed. “I’m brushing my teeth first. You’ll have to wait.”

“Kenzie, I could watch you walk around naked all day.Pleasetake your time.”

I did. Then I gave an extra wiggle pulling on a clean pair of shorts while he stared. “Okay, I’m ready for the gauntlet.”

“No undies today?”

“Why? You’d probably just steal them.” I patted his chest as I walked past him toward the door.

He didn’t let me get far, spinning me around to kiss me stupid. My back hit the door, and when I considered begging him to stay, I forced myself to make a token protest.

“I thought you had to go.”

“I do,” he said, nipping my bottom lip. “Hockey things. Come over after your group meeting.”

“Okay,” I agreed breathlessly. He could have asked me to rob a convenience store, and I would have said yes as long as he kept kissing me.

A long few seconds later, the alarm on his phone went off, and he pulled himself away with a groan. “Now I really do have to go. Let’s go brave the masses.”

Despite my fear of Amanda lurking outside my room, we almost made it to the front door before we ran into anyone. Unfortunately, it was Kiki, followed by my nemesis. Amanda came around the corner talking to a few of our housemates.

She stopped mid-sentence and held up her hand. “Kenzie. I wasn’t aware you had a visitor last night.”

I tilted my head, suddenly fed up with her bitchy attitude. “That’s because I don’t have to report to you. Myboyfriendwas just leaving.”

“Amanda, a pleasure, as always.” His sarcasm went right over her head as she preened.

“And you,” he growled, backing me against the wall before taking my mouth in a possessive kiss. He gripped the side of my throat and tilted my chin up with his thumb.

I wrapped my fingers around his wrist and let him devour me in front of my sorority sisters. Just when I was ready to pull him back into my room, he eased away, rubbing his nose with mine.

“I’ll see you tonight,” he whispered with a wicked grin, then walked backward to the door.

In the silent hallway, I heard a lusty sigh from someone on my left, but I didn’t take my eyes away from Reece to see who it was. I was in so much trouble if I couldn’t establish some distance.

“Dicksand,”Eva said with conviction from the screen.

Marco nodded along next to me, and Sunny added her agreement with a sharp quack.

Avery leaned over to stage whisper, “Welcome to the Ball Bunny Book Club.”
