Page 44 of Subbing For Santa

Her lips part to say something, but she snaps them shut like she’s not sure how to respond to me. I use her silence to begin washing her again, this time squeezing water over her shoulders.

She relaxes a little as she mulls over our conversation before she asks more questions.

“You said you need a brave woman. Why? Do you mean brave enough to be sexually adventurous?”

I like that she’s interested enough to have so many questions. It means there’s hope.

“I already knew you were sexually adventurous. I’ve been watching you from the moment you moved in.” I shoot her a devilish wink, and her cheeks instantly redden. “I wanted to see if you were brave enough to embark on this game with me, even though you didn’t know who I was. I wanted to see if you’d be brave enough to handle the punishments, even though they were pretty tame.”

A loud incredulous laugh escapes her as her caramel eyes widen. “Choking me with your dick isn’t that tame.”

“No, but it was fun.” I shoot her a wink and again, she rolls her eyes at me.

“For you maybe.” She scoffs and her cheeks turn flaming red.

Did she just lie to me?

“You can’t fool me, Aggie. I know you liked it.” I shoot her a shit-eating grin as I call her out, and she huffs, wrapping her arms across her chest.

“Whatever.”

I chuckle.

“So basically, you needed to make sure I was stupid enough to play with a stalker?” She throws her hands up, giving me another glimpse of her perky tits.

“I don’t think you’re stupid, Aggie. I think you’re perfect.” I say with honesty, and once again she scoffs at me.

“Perfect? You’re a stranger to me. I played a game, handing over my trust to a complete stranger and put myself in danger.”

This time, my brows shoot up as I prepare to stir the pot. “Well, now that you put it like that, it does sound kind of stupid.”

Aggie shoots me a dagger and I try really fucking hard not to smile.

She’s quiet for a few minutes, and I continue to wash her shoulders, arms and legs in the comfortable silence.

When she speaks again, her voice is soft, filled with curiosity.

“Why did you need to see if I am brave?” she asks, sinking lower into the steaming hot water.

I take a moment to study my little elf. My eyes darting between hers, hoping she’s ready to hear my next words.

“Because in my world, if you’re not brave, you die.”

Die?Whatishetalking about? My frown hurts my face it’s so strong, and all he does is give me a soft smile before standing and undoing his jeans. I should tell him to leave, yet I don’t. Finally, I’ve met my Santa, and even though there are little red flags waving in my mind, I can’t bring myself to ask him to leave. For some reason, I want him to stay.

“I’m still confused,” I admit, and he nods.

“It’s understandable.”

“I want to know what you mean about your world, but first, please tell me about this house. Do you spy on all of your tenants?”

“No.”
