He laughed. "And yet I'm weak for you."

"Alpha, you've got a meeting in five," Alfie reminded him, his voice strained.

"I only need four." Luka smirked.

"You should be ashamed of yourself," Felix's voice boomed as he stepped into the room. "The office is where you're choosing to take your omega for the first time?"

Our alpha looked slightly embarrassed. "This damn skirt..."

"Is only one of many articles of clothing you'll need to sift through and not act on your urges," Felix finished for Luka.

"Who is the alpha here?" Luka's brows pulled.

"Ah, the alpha card. Then act like it." Felix flopped a stack of papers down in front of Luka. "The contract from this morning’s meeting. Your clients can't wait to meet our sweet little omega."

Ours.

I still had trouble accepting that fact.

I was theirs; my omega told me so. If I was honest, that bitch hadn’t shut up about how she’d bagged these three hotties. Still, I myself couldn’t believe they would want me when they could have had a perfect omega. One that would make them proud to stand next to, proud to accept in a crowded room.

They had me now, and there was no going back, but how would they accept me when the fog of my new existence fadesand they are faced with all the other units’ perfect little omega wives?

Unaware of the war inside of me, myself and my logic against my omega and her lust, Luka only offered me a lopsided grin before he spun in his chair and picked up the stack of papers. "Well, I guess it's time we made her ours then, so we can share our sweet little omega with the world."

CHAPTER TWELVE

LUKA

She was a deliciously tempting morsel. The kicker? She didn’t even know. I wished to tear the Omega Industries to threads for how they messed with my omega’s confidence, but for now, a formal business complaint would have to do.

Two weeks our omega had lived with us. Two weeks of smelling that divine sweet scent of hers that was made to draw in weak males like ourselves and bring us to our knees. She’d succeeded. She’d succeeded a thousand times over, and the witty little omega had absolutely not a single clue.

Behind her door in her sanctuary, she whimpered in her sleep and it killed me, absolutely slayed us, to not scoop her up and bring her onto our pallet. But we were being respectful of her space. It was the hardest thing I’d ever done, and as the alpha, I’d been faced with many near impossible decisions.

I closed my eyes and inhaled deep, struggling not to lose control. Fuck, it was so damn delicious. Her scent seeped under her door and into our room, filling our space with everything that was here.

“I think…“ Felix swallowed hard beside me. “I think our omega might be approaching a heat.”

I hadn’t wanted to say it. Didn’t want to mention it in case I was wrong. But her scent had been changing daily, becoming stronger, more potent than I thought possible. Now it was damn near tearing into me, urging me to her side. But it wasn’t time yet, at least… I didn’t think so.

“I agree.” I finally breathed out. “But not yet.”

“When?”

Hell if I knew. “A week? Maybe two?”

“I might die before then,” he grumbled.

“You? This is my fucking calling. My alpha is going crazy. My insides damn near ache with the way he is protesting.”

“We need to mark her,” Alfie stated, like that wasn’t fucking obvious.

“We will,” I promised. I just hadn’t worked up enough courage to do it. I wanted to. I wanted nothing more. But she was so innocent and the way she reacted to a single kiss told me she wasn’t ready. She needed to come to us, not have us force our lust onto her. “She’s scared.”

Hell, I couldn’t admit it out loud, but I was scared too. Marking an omega was permanent, and what if she rejected me after? She’d always wear my mark.

Behind her door, she began to stir, and we all jumped up, pretending like we weren’t lying on our own pallets, lusting after her.
