“Maybe tomorrow. I’ll see how Hayden is in the morning and call the other guys once I’ve told him, plus Grandad and Nonna, then you can tell everyone.”

We all head to our bedrooms, and Lita collapses on the bed before she lifts her hand to her neck as she does. She looks so beautiful and radiant, pregnant with my baby, and wearing a smile on her face as she feels the necklace I used to propose to her. Despite everything that’s just happened with Hayden, I feel as though I’m floating on a cloud right now.

“I feel guilty for being so happy,” I tell her.

Lita smiles back at me. “Me too.”

I climb onto the bed next to her and smile down at her. “I’m glad; I want my fiancée to be happy at all times.”

“Oh my god, you’re my fiancé,” Lita says slowly.

“Yup, you’re stuck with me for the rest of your life, princess.” I grin as I lower my mouth to hers and kiss her.

“I don’t know, I could still back out, you know.”

I reach underneath the dress she’s wearing and begin to gently stroke her inner thigh. “Really? You’re thinking about backing out, huh?”

“Yup, I only said yes so that you wouldn’t lose face in front of our parents,” Lita nods.

“I see. I’m sure that’s the case. Well, let me just show you what you’ll be missing when you back out.” I smirk at her as I push my fingers in and out of her three times before I begin to slowly rub them in circles across her clit, and Lita moans. “I doubt you’ll miss this at all.”

“Nope. Not…at…all,” Lita says in between panting breaths.

I lower my mouth to bite her nipple, and Lita moans again.

“Come for me, princess,” I murmur before I lower my head to kiss her as I continue to rub her clit.

I’m still kissing her when she reaches orgasm, and she moans into my mouth as she comes. We remove our clothing, and then I enter her from behind. After we clean up, we lie in bed together, naked, and with Lita only wearing the airplane necklace.

“I’m the luckiest man in the world,” I tell her.

“You definitely are,” she agrees, and I can’t help but smile.

As we lie in the dark, I revel in the feeling of holding my fiancée in my arms. The woman I love who I will one day marry. On some level, I still can’t believe I proposed, but on another level, it feels as though every moment from the night we met has led to this. Mom was right—Lita really is the perfect woman for me.

LEVEL 35.5 – Cruise Control Bingo

Lita appearsin the living room wearing one of Heather’s latest designs for her. It’s a flowery maternity dress, and she’s put on some black ballet flats. Wearing shoes that slip on seems to have become her solution to the problem she’s faced with now that her bump is bigger. She’s got her hair in a ponytail and looks as beautiful as ever.

“Hey, princess, all ready to go?” I smile at her, then look back at the TV screen to save my progress inThe Onyx Project.

“Yup, I can’t wait!” Lita tells me with a grin.

We’re going to pick Becky up from the airport, and then we’ll be going to a rehearsal at Hayden’s place. Becky has no idea what we’ve got planned, and I think that I’ve discovered that Lita loves surprising people. Our official rehearsals won’t be starting until next month, but Hayden has a rehearsal space in his apartment that we’ve been visiting each Friday since the beginning of the year.

When we get to the airport, Lita and I stay in the car while Daryl goes into the airport to get Becky. Ben stays in the car with us because, since Hayden’s crash, Cooper has been even stricter about our security measures. None of us are allowed to be out without a bodyguard in public at all now. As much as I hate Cooper, I completely agree with this move. The car crash has really thrown everyone for a loop, especially Hayden, who seems out of sorts…and I don’t blame him. The police are still going through his fan mail, but they haven't found anything yet.

“Hi, guys,” Becky says as she slides into the car. “Lita, oh my god, you look gorgeous.”

“Thanks,” Lita says and gives her friend a hug. “It’s so good to see you.”

Becky smiles at her and then catches sight of the airplane necklace. She reaches out and holds it in her hands before she leans forward to look at it.

“It’sstunning. It looks even better than it did in the pictures you sent me. You did good, Sebastian.”

I smile at her. “Thanks, Becky.”
