“We didn’t want to just plan this without asking what you guys wanted to do,” Hayden tells her with a smile. “Obviously, we’re taking you guys to dinner first. We can go to a club for some drinks afterward, or we could find something else to do if you’re not interested in clubbing.”

“We should play pool,” I suggest.

It’s my favorite thing to do, and I’m surprised when Lita whips her head around to face me. “For real?”

I turn my head to meet her gaze; she has a massive grin on her face and seems excited. This is an interesting response to my comment. I’ve never met a woman who was this excited about playing pool. I slowly run my eyes over her body, imagining her bent over a pool table as I fuck her. That sure would be fun.

“Yes, for real; do you want to?” I smile at her again as I say it.

I look into her eyes, and I can see that she is completely and utterly responsive to me. Tonight will be fun, that’s for sure. I’m already enjoying this immensely, and I can’t wait to see how she reacts in bed.

“Absolutely.” She smiles back at me, and the atmosphere is completely electric between us. “I love playing pool.”

I wrench my gaze away from hers and laugh as casually as I can, “Well, that’s two votes for pool, then. Does anyone else want to play with Lita and me?”

I choose to phrase it this way for its ambiguity. I am perfectly aware of the possible alternate meaning behind my words.

“You know I always enjoy playing pool,” Hayden says with a grin at me, and I can tell that he’s purposely ignoring my double entendre.

“Lord knows why,” Harrison says with a roll of his eyes because we all know that Hayden is absolutely terrible at pool, but for some reason, he is still always one of the first to agree to play and enjoys it anyway. “What about you, Becky?”

“Oh, there’s nothing more enjoyable than playing pool with Lita,” Becky says dryly. “But if everyone else wants to play…” she trails off with a shrug of her shoulders.

Well, now, that is an interesting comment. Similar to the kinds of comments that my friends often make about me. Surely, I could not have met a woman with a body made for sin, who is Italian and likes to play pool. That would be too much to ask.

“You obviously like to play a lot, then?” I raise an eyebrow at her, once again phrasing it in such a way that I can pretend she’s talking about sex when she replies.

“Yeah, I play whenever I get the chance. It’s fun,” she tells me, and I can see that she’s overwhelmed right now.

Her friend snorts loudly from the sofa next to ours, and I wonder if Lita is better at the game than she’s making herself out to be.

I want to touch her, so I throw an arm around her shoulders and say, “I think we’re going to be great friends, Lita.”

Her body fits perfectly next to mine, and as I pull her close against me, she turns her face up to look at me. I look down at her, and she’s so close now. Her lips are so big and red and kissable. I want her. More than I’ve ever wanted someone before. I want her even more than the one woman in the world that I had never been able to get. It shocks me how badly I want her. It’s scary to want a person this much.

I let go of her at once, stand up quickly, and announce, “Well, let’s go eat. The faster we eat, the faster I can kick people’s asses at pool.”

Everyone else stands as well, and we make our way to leave. Our bodyguards have all been hovering nearby this whole time, and they follow us to the entrance of the hotel. They lead the way to hold back a crowd of people with cameras as they call out questions to us.

“Gabriel, where’s Ariana?”

“Sebastian, are you having a threesome tonight, then?” another person asks.

I can’t stop myself from smirking. I have no interest in Lita’s friend, but I am definitely getting Lita into bed tonight.

“Harrison, where’s your wife?”

Heather and Ariana are spending the night together at Harrison’s place.

“Sebastian! Is one of these women your new girlfriend?”

Ugh, I have zero desire to have a girlfriend. Surely people know this by now. My life is perfectly fine the way it is.

“Hayden, what about you? Where’s your girl?”

Ally is pretty much unknown to the world, in general, and lives in New York.

We finally reach a limousine that is waiting for us and get into it. Gabriel’s bodyguard, Michael Pearce, closes the door, and suddenly it’s quiet again.
