“Yes, I mean. He’s been with more people than me and is veryopen.” I stress that last word, hoping she wouldn’t ask how open.
“So you want to impress him? Get some new moves?” Macy sinks deeper into the plush cushions of the couch, more relaxed with the situation. Clearly, she is not shy at all about this topic.
“Yes. I want to surprise him. Maybe do something he’s not done before?” I wince, afraid of her judgment.
“Okay, so he’s older, been with more partners, he’s a guy, and he’s fucking Mafia, so he’s been fucking for a while—” Macy offers.
“Let's just focus on me,” I cut in while she is on a rant.
“BDSM? Oh! A kink club!” Macy practically jumps off the couch with excitement. “There’s one in town.”
“What’s a kink club?” I sort of had an idea.
“It’s so much fun. My cousin went to one. So there are all these rooms, and they are themed. Some have windows so people can watch, but you can’t see them.” The more she explains, the more energetic she becomes.
I can feel myself getting wet as she goes on about what happens in a kink club.Would someone watching turn Ash on? Like I was that first day?
“Here.” Macy holds her phone out to me, but I hesitate. “Book a session. Even go and just have a look around.”
Ash wouldn’t just want to look around. I wonder if he and Sasha have ever gone to a kink club.
“There! Booked for tomorrow.” Macy smiles proudly at her contribution to my sex life.
“What?” I grab her phone, and there it was, my name booked into a kink club.Who the fuck was I?“I don’t know if I can do this.”
“The kink community is kewl as fuck. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.”
“But what If I can’t? What if I bring Ash there, and he gets turned on, and I freeze?” My skin feels like it’s on fire. I wanted Ash to crave me and only me.
“Then you go home and fuck like bunnies. Use it as a pre-show. He won’t be turned on if you're doing something you don’t want to. If he does, that’s a red flag. I mean, dating someone in the Mafia should also be a red flag.” She sighs.
“We aren’t dating. I mean, we haven’t talked about what we are. Today, or last night, his ex is back in his life. The person he’s been with the longest. And she’s beautiful and oozes sex—”
“What?” Macy throws the pillow on the floor and lowers herself onto it. “What do you mean back in his life?”
“Well, not back in his life. He has to work with her on a deal. It’s a long story…”
“Mafia story…” Macy bites her fingernails. “What did she say to you? Does she know you're fucking her ex?”
“You’re not helping.” I stretch out on the floor. I didn’t want to associate Ash and Sasha together.
“You told me, so you must wanna talk about it.”
“I just can’t even see them together. She’s not his type.” I scrunch my forehead, trying to make sense of their relationship.
“You mean the opposite of you,” Macy observes.
“Yes, I guess. I mean, looks wise. We are completely different. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it.”
“You think she wants Ash?”
“Oh, she definitely wants him. They spent the day together. Ash and I were going to hang out tonight, but he texted he can’t.” All day long, I couldn't shake off thoughts about what they weredoing, but now my mind is racing with the image of him being in bed with her.
“With just her?” Macy asks.
“No, his father and his brothers too. It was a workday and apparently night...” My voice trails off. I pick up my phone to see if he’s texted me—nothing.
“Well, that doesn’t sound very romantic.”
