“Yes, but tell us what’s wrong.” Neal stepped forward and wrapped me in a hug.

“Nothing is wrong. We’ll talk about it when we get home.”

I finished confirming the appointment with the receptionist, and Aaron went to get the car. When he drove around to the front door of the clinic, I almost lost it. Aaron and Neal had a Christmas tree tied to the top of the Land Rover—it was so big that it hung off both the back and front of the vehicle. I had no clue how Aaron could see through the front window.

“Umm… Neal, do you think the tree is big enough?”

“Don’t get me started. Aaron wanted three trees. I don’t even know where he planned to put them. I talked him down to one.”

I couldn’t hold back my giggles. “Let’s go home. I need to talk to you and Aaron.” I reached into my pocket and texted Brock to let him know I wouldn’t be back. If he needed me, he would send me a text.

I leaned back into my car and watched as the dumb bitch walked out of the clinic. She thought she could escape me. But she had another thing coming. Daisy would be mine again, and once I had her again, nobody would take her away.

My phone rang in the passenger seat and made me take my eyes off the target, the woman who would be under me again. She would be mine, and I looked forward to hearing the screams come out of her mouth once more. It had been so beautiful to watch the blood run down her skin.

“What?” I screamed into the phone.

“Sir, I have your one o’clock meeting here. Will you make it back? It’s Judge Houser.”

“Yes, I’m on my way.”

After my meeting to get another issue handled, I knew I would get rid of her men and make her mine. I had the perfect place planned to hold her.

The trip back to the house went quickly. I’d told the men we would talk when we got home, but inside my stomach turned—I didn’t know if either of them wanted kids. I knew Neal had grown up in a difficult home, and I worried about him the most.

I noticed Aaron’s phone wouldn’t stop ringing. “Are you going to answer that?”

“Nope.”

“Who is it?”

“My agent.”

“You need to get that. What happens if he has a part for you?”

“He doesn’t.”

I looked in Neal’s direction.

“Aaron told his agent today he plans to retire and move back to Ft. Lauderdale. Aaron’s agent is mad that his cash cow quit.”

Aaron grunted in his seat as he parked in the penthouse parking space.

“Are you sure you want to quit?” I got out of the car.

He jumped out of the car quickly then held me in his arms. “I want to be with you and Neal. I don’t want Neal to have to move Black Hat to California, and you have too many bad memories there. I might work for my brothers, Alex and Antonio—they’ve offered. Hell, I’ve got so much money that I might open a charity or something.”

“Okay.”

He captured my lips and demanded entrance, and all my worries melted away as Aaron held me in his arms. I forgot where we were until Neal came up behind me and kissed the side of my neck. I needed to tell them what the doctor said, and we were still in the middle of a parking garage.
