“Wait a minute. You’re the one who said it first. You told your dad you’re in love with me,” he plays around right back, and then we pull slightly away so we can look each other in the eye.
“I love you,” we say in unison. “Damn it!” we both add, then fall to the bed, laughing together.
“I was going to say it first.” I brush his hair off his forehead. “I mean, without my dad telling you for me.”
“I think it’s kinda cool that we said it at the same time.”
And he’s right, it is. “That tracks.”
Taylor’s hand travels down my back to my ass. “I wish I had time to fuck you.”
“Tonight. For now, we have to make sure our parents have the best wedding.” I press my lips to his, then reluctantly pull away. If I don’t, we’ll very much end up naked and all over each other.
“Hey, where are you going?” Taylor says when I roll out of the bed.
“To start us a shower.”
“Do we have time for a quick BJ?” he asks.
I turn and wink at him. “Only if you’re lucky.”

Today’s been awhirlwind.
I thought the Piece of Shit would be the biggest shock of the day, but then to come back and discover that not only had Brenner told Mom and Keith about us, but he’s in love with me.
That was a lot.
And also…just what I needed.
I do love Brenner, something I felt in my soul as I told the Piece of Shit how important Brenner is to me.
And as if finding out about Brenner’s feelings wasn’t enough, it touched me how understanding and caring Keith was, being there for me the way a father is supposed to be there for family. Being the sort of dad for me that I never knew.
It was like the Piece of Shit’s master plan to mess today up backfired and wound up bringing us all closer together.
The only thing that sucks is that Bren and I barely have time for a quick blowjob—because apparently, I was lucky—before we rush to get changed into our suits, then get to work to pull this wedding off, since we have to make up for the lost time when everyone was searching for me.
Fortunately, despite the Piece of Shit’s attempt to foil Mom and Keith’s wedding, the ceremony goes off without a hitch and the reception is a blast.
By that evening, when Brenner and I finally manage to slip away to our room, I’m looking forward to some private time, since the whole day has been about navigating our families and the gossip that came up when they found out who showed up to ruin the big day.
“You look too fucking hot in this damn suit,” Brenner says, undoing the buttons of my jacket as our hotel room door closes behind us. “Could barely focus on the vows because this thing was getting me all stiff.”
“You think I didn’t notice?”
“Please.” He grabs at my crotch. “I saw you getting a semi too.”
I mean, can’t deny that. “I like you in a suit. Aside from the rare dance or school function, the most dressed up you get is your work apron.”
“It’s true. This isn’t really our thing, which is why we need to get out of these clothes like five minutes ago.”
We tear at each other’s clothes, struggling more than usual because there are so many fucking buttons that we’re not used to managing. And suspenders, and what the fuck kind of murder weapon is the buckle on this belt supposed to be?
When I manage to get his shirt pulled off his shoulders, I realize… “Wait, we gotta unbutton the cuffs.”
