“I know you do, Bren.”

I flop to my back and look at the ceiling. He’s right. We should talk about this. I know we should. “I don’t know what it means. I like you, and you like me. I’m not quite ready to define it further.”

“I feel the same. I just wanted to ask since this is so new.”

“See? We’re already killing it. We’re on the same page.”

“Always.” Taylor reaches over, setting his hand on one of my pecs and brushing his thumb over my nipple. “So…we like each other. We’re best friends. Future stepbrothers. And we’re having sex. We’ve officially decided that much.”

I nod, my body slightly tingly just from being close to him and feeling the way he’s touching me. “Yes.”

“What about hooking up with other people?”

I growl, then frown, surprised at myself.

“That growl was kinda hot.”

“Only kinda?”

“You don’t like the thought of me messing around with others.”

“Didn’t we figure this out in the kitchen earlier?” I grumble, pretending to be annoyed.

“You want me to be all yours, Bren?”

“Fuck yes. Are you gonna pretend you don’t want the same?”

Taylor nods, affirming what I said. “You’re mine.”

“Perfect. We’re best friends and future stepbrothers, who like each other and exclusively have sex with each other. Problem solved. How long do you think you’ll take to get it up again?”

He laughs. “Not too long, but we’re not done here yet.”

“Damn it!” I tease, but then pull him over so he’s lying on top of me, looking down at me with those bright blue eyes, his blond bangs hanging down.

He looks so hot tonight.

I love being here with Taylor like this.

“Be good, Bren, or I’ll tickle you again.”

That’s one of his favorite threats. “Sadist!” I lean up and press a kiss to his lips. “So fucking cool that I get to do this all the time now.”

“I mean…not all the time. Like, it wouldn’t be smart to start making out in front of our parents. Unless you think we should tell them about us. If that’s what you’re saying, we need to discuss it a bit more.” He quirks a brow. “Originally, we didn’t think it was worth it when it seemed like it wasn’t a big deal for us to stop. But now, it’s clearly more than that, and I don’t want to keep my hands off you. But I don’t think we should tell them yet.”

“One hundred percent agree. I don’t want to keep my hands off you either, and this is more, but it would be a lot for them todeal with while planning a wedding. Plus, it’s not like they didn’t keep their relationship a secret from us.”

“Yeah, but maybe we try and tell them before they walk in on me fucking your brains out.”

We both laugh, before we sober, and I say, “They’d be confused and worried about what would happen if something went wrong. They don’t need that stress before the wedding.”

Taylor looks down at my chest, then draws circles on it. “What if something does go wrong?”

“It won’t. We’re us, Tay. We’ve been friends too long to let something come between us.”

He nods. “You’re right. I just needed to ask. At this point we’re just seeing how things go. And we’ll be honest with each other if anything changes. So if this is still going after the wedding, that’s when we tell them?”

“I think so.” Holy shit. What if Taylor and I are still doing this in four months? That’s like a whole-ass relationship, something I’ve never done.
