“Considering how wet you are, I’m thinking you don’t mind belonging to me. Being mine. So let’s get this outta the way. A biker doesn’t patch his woman because he thinks she’s a possession. It’s because she is his center: the most precious, important part of his heart and soul. You’ll wear my cut so that everyone will see my name and know whose protection you have. Who will be the last man they see before they leave this world if they’re fucking stupid enough to mess with for you. Putting my patch on you is about protecting you, keeping you safe. Along with declaring to the world how much of a lucky bastard I am to have such a feisty, kickass woman in my bed and life.”
As much as I hadn’t wanted to understand, his speech had softened me to the concept. But I still had an issue with the wordage. “Does it have to say “property of,” really?”
He chuckled and flexed his hips again, making me bite the inside of my cheek to prevent a moan from escaping.
“Oh, that’s staying. You are totally gonna be my property, babe. But not how you’re thinkin’. You’re thinking civilian, but you’re in the MC world now, you gotta think about it from that perspective. You are the thing I cherish most in this world, even more important than my Harley. My ride or die, the one I willalwaysstand in front of to protect.”
Tears pricked my eyes at this romantic side of him. Even if it was biker style and possessive as hell. Before he had me bawling, I lifted up and kissed him to shut him up. He chuckled against my lips before shifting his hips back until the head of his dick lined up with my entrance. Releasing my wrists, he lowered down to continue kissing me as he slowly slid inside me. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I held him to me as he proceeded to claim me all over again.

Jacie’s friends pounding on the adjoining door at midnight wasn’t how I’d planned on waking up. Hoping I could at least save Jacie from being disturbed, I rushed to pull my jeans on as I moved over toward the sound. I should have realized it was pointless to even try. Before I could flip the lock, Jacie called out from behind me.
“Shut the hell up already!”
The moment I had the door open, the three girls burst into the room.
“Whoa. Damn.” The oldest of her friends stalled out in front of me, running her gaze up and down as she shook her head. I couldn’t resist flexing a little—I was only human, and while I was a one woman man and completely committed to Jacie, I wasn’t immune to enjoying when another chick was admiring me.
“Geez, Neveah, take a photo why don’t you?” One of the other girls, I was fairly certain her name was Sparrow, said as she grabbed her arm and tugged her over toward the bed. Where Jacie was now sitting up, nothing but the thin hotel sheet covering her pretty tits while she glared daggers at me.
My eyes widened. “What? Did you not want me to let your friends in?”
Those pretty blue irises of hers rolled before returning to send fire my way.
“Don’t think I failed to notice what you just did. Makes me think our earlier conversation was nothing but a bunch of lies. Typical bloody bloke. Say anything to get in a woman’s knickers. Go, Trident, and leave me the fuck alone.”
I was struck mute for a few moments as I tried to work out how I’d gone from waking up happily wrapped around my woman, to her kicking me out just minutes later.
“Jacie, I didn’t fucking lie to you about anything. What the fuck just happened that you’re so angry?”
Tugging the sheet free from the mattress as she shuffled over to the edge of the bed, she made fast work of wrapping the fabric around her before she stormed over to me.
“You were totally putting on a show for Neveah just now. Don’t you dare try to deny it! I saw you flex your arms and pecs. You do that to every chick that looks your way? I’m just one of many, aren’t I?”
Motherfucker! Tears shone in her eyes, tearing me to my soul. I reached for her but she danced out of my reach.
“Babe, I wasn’t fucking lying when I said I wanted to be exclusive, but I’m only human. A pretty girl stops to stare at my muscles, I can’t help but enjoy the moment. Doesn’t mean I’d even think about wanting to take shit further! You telling me you don’t get a buzz outta men stopping to check you out when you go out all dolled up?”
The fire that flickered in her gaze had me wincing. Guess not.
“Women do not like strange men ogling them. Ever. It’s creepy.”
I raised an eyebrow as Neveah spun to glare at her friend. “Uh, Jacie, did you just call me creepy because I happened to notice Trident takesverygood care of himself?”
She spun to face her friend. “Well, it wasn’t exactly polite! Just wait till you get a man and we all start flirting with him.”
Scrubbing a hand over my face before tugging on my beard, I growled in frustration. Which drew my woman’s attention back my way.
“Oh, please. Don’t you dare start with some alpha macho bullshit. You just flirted with my friend. In front of me. Nope. You need to go.”
She then stormed over to the bathroom and locked herself in. I blinked in shock, not sure what to do. My first instinct was to kick the door down to get to my woman, but I rather suspected that would get hotel security called on me, if not the cops. No matter which way I went, I was going to be leaving without her.
With another growl I stomped over to where our clothes were and finished getting dressed before I glanced at her three friends.
“I’ll be back tomorrow.” I pointed at Neveah. “You need to fix this shit you started. I’m not gonna lose my old lady because she’s fucking jealous over nothing.”
