“You're to be debriefed on your mission. She is going to see her supervisor; I doubt it's for a congratulatory meeting."
“But she brought us back,” Trey answered.
“I don't believe that's how that action will be seen,” their escort retorted. The debriefing took hours and once they were released, they went looking for Dari.

DARI
Dari was nearly done packing when she heard a knock on her door. “What are you doing?” Lowell asked, able to see around her at his height, she was packing. She let the team into her small quarters; shut the door and turned back to her bags.
“I'm on the next flight back to the States.”
“So are we,” Duke said. Dari smiled; the rest of the team shot glares.
“You aren't supposed to leave yet.” Lowell retorted.
“I'm on unpaid leave until the results of the administrative hearing is complete.”
“Wait,” Chaos started, “What the fuck did you do?” Again, the team traded looks.
“We know you left without clearance, you stole the boss's GPS tracker, but you brought home a SEAL team. Did the doctor stitch up your head?” he finished, as Lowell brushed his hand against the bandage near her eye. Lowell emptied her hands and continued packing her bag.
“No, it was open too long,” Dari answered, watching the guys as they finished picking up all her stuff and piling it up for Lowell to pack.
Lowell grabbed up her bags, turned, “Let's go.”
Boardingthe plane with a team of SEALs for the second time in her life, she did not miss the intricacies of their movement this time. Duke went first, easily joking with the Airmen getting everyone sat. Lowell next, Dari behind him, knowing her size would make the Airmen want her in the middle seats. When the Airmen tried to split them, Lowell glowered down at them, pulling her behind him, blocking her while moving her to the seat. Trey stepped up almost whispering, “It's not worth it, man.” The rest of the team sat without issue.
Dari looked around the aircraft. She noticed the females in particular spending a lot of time gazing over at the team. Lowell leaned over, “What?”
“I think they're jealous.”
“Who?”
“You guys are so clueless,” Dari rolled her eyes. “The females, they keep looking over here.” Lowell straightened and looked around, shook his head, and shrugged.
Trey leaned over, “That's cause I'm hot.”
Dari stifled a laugh. “How did I miss that?”
“Because you were already with that idiot,” Trey motioned at Lowell. Lowell put his hand possessively on Dari's thigh, turning to glare at Trey. Trey put his hands up, “With you taken Cowboy, it's just more for me.” Dari laughed again.
Home
When they got backto California things settled back into routine. Except for Dari who without work found herself bored. She spent extra time working out. On the long runs she’d take, she wondered what she would do if she was fired from NCIS.Was there an option to take her off Agent status and put her back into an analyst position? She was restless at night, which surprised Lowell considering he knew how much time she was spending working out to exhaustion. His routine had adjusted slightly with her availability. He would open the door at the end of his day to an insatiable hellcat. Their lovemaking frantic. After one such session Lowell breathed out, “If you don’t get back to work soon, it might kill me.” Dari had simply slid down, sucking his cock until he came again. “Jeezuz, Dari,” he breathed heavily. She walked out of the bedroom, pulling on the shirt he had taken off. He must have dozed off because at the same time he realized she was in the kitchen he heard the lock on the front door click open. He nearly jumped into a pair of shorts, grabbing a pair of Dari’s, and running out of the bedroom door. He came flying into the kitchen just in time, bouncing his hip against a counter; covering Dari from his team, as she snatched the shorts he held behind his back.
“Dari, what’s for dinner?” Chaos asked stepping into the kitchen, heading straight for the small table they had at one end.
“Would it matter?”
“No, when will it be ready?”
“I didn’t know you guys were coming over,” Dari responded.
