Brooke tried to slip out of his grip as the sun was coming up. His grip tightened, “what?” he muttered.

“I just want to shower.”

The night came back in technicolor detail and Hammer’s eyes flew open. “Are you okay?”

“Yes.”

“I didn’t?—”

“It was amazing,” Brooke interrupted. Hammer’s eyes lifted to hers, “I’m ready for Round Two any time you want,” she continued.

Hammer got up and followed her to the shower. He stepped in behind her, wrapping his arms around her as the water cascaded down over them. He soaped up a sponge and methodically started massaging and cleaning her body. His arm wrapping around her shoulders to hold her up as he reached low cleaning her pussy, then stashing the sponge and sliding his fingers in and out of her. He cradled her small belly, spreading her feet, as he leaned her forward to take her from behind. He knew he was pounding her cervix, but she pushed back into him, forcing him deeper. They both yelled out their release.

BROOKE

The bitch would pay, Antoine thought as he was leaving the jail cell. She had not wasted ten minutes and was shacked up with some white dude she met at work. She was undoubtedly letting him stuff her already, stupid whore. He would find out where she was, kill her and leave that little pissant to the system. If he got the opportunity, he would take out the dude who sucker punched him too. First, to sleep.

SCOTT

Dari showed up at Chaos’ apartment. The door opened, “Cha?—”

Dari stopped, not recognizing the blue-eyed stranger at the door. While leaning back to verify the number she heard Chaos scrambling in the background, calling out not to answer the door. Dari shoved the man back into the apartment, hooked his heel, dropping him onto his back. Chaos slammed the door shut as he came through the space, towel wrapped around his waist.

He hauled Dari off the man, dropping her in the nearest chair of his living room. He pulled up the grinning man next.

“Such protective friends,” he said aloud.

Chaos was scowling at his guest. “Dari, this is Scott. Scott, this is Dari.” Dari stood; they shook hands. Her eyes moved back and forth between the two men.

“Chaos,” her gaze finally settled on his almost black eyes. “I didn’t know.”

“No one did,” Chaos stated flatly, his jaw clenching.

Chaos turned to head back to his room. Scott waited, taking a chair next to Dari. Feeling sufficiently scolded, Dari sat quietly.

Crossing his legs, Scott leaned over the arm rest toward her, “Andy never has introduced me to any of his friends.”

Dari looked over, “Chaos normally has a reason for everything. And I’m only friends by association. He works with my husband. How long have you been together?” Dari redirected.

“A number of years. Obviously, he hasn’t come out, work,” Scott shrugged.

“Why do you stay if you have to be hidden?”

“He’s amazing in the sack,” Scott answered brazenly. Dari half smiled; she was still chewing on Chaos not telling the team. “There isn’t anything else to my knowledge,” Scott answered an unasked question.

“The service doesn’t care about all that stuff anymore.”

“He’s in the man’s man club, yes it does.”

Changing topics, Dari asked, “What is it that you do?”

“My family owns a vineyard. And yes, they know about Andy, although they haven’t met yet. When Andy isn’t working, I prioritize our time.” Chaos came out of the hallway dressed casually in a t-shirt and cargo shorts, like most of the guys wore. “Are you going to stay for breakfast, Dari?” Scott asked before Chaos could send her away. He rose, passing Chaos on his way to the kitchen. “You will behave,” Scott said snapping his teeth with a promising wink. Playfully, Chaos over exaggerated an ushering motion for Dari to follow Scott toward the kitchen.
