Jenna hesitated and then nodded.

Rowan’s lips touched hers, and it felt like lights exploded behind his eyelids, and everything around them faded. The emotions were so powerful it should have scared him, but she was his and his brother’s mate. Everything they felt now would intensify with time, so he hadbetter get used to it quickly.

Chapter Five

Jenna reached up and grabbed onto his thick wrists as he deepened the hottest kiss she’d ever had. Although her thoughts were scattered after the shock of the first contact, her feelings were also out of control, and she didn’t understand why.

If he asked her to lay down and pull up her skirt for him, she would have done it at that moment, and she’d never been like that before in her life.

One of his arms wrapped around her waist to pull her tightly against his body. She felt every muscle in his chest and how hard his cock was as it throbbed against her abdomen. She almost reached for it but stopped when he lifted his head to stare down at her.

“Fuck, Baby. We’re going to burn the bed to ashes when we get you onto one.”

He said “we” again. Did he expect his brother to be able to touch her, too? It was kind of what he had hinted at, and she didn’t know how to ask him about it.

“Come on, before I take you back to bed,” he told her and led her out of thebedroom.

She listened as he called someone as they made their way down the stairs.

“I’m bringing her out. Have the men braced for anything.”

Jenna stiffened. For a moment, she’d forgotten the danger she was in. But she noticed that as long as she was close to Rowan, she felt safe. As impossible as it sounded, she knew deep inside thathe’d never let anything happen to her.

A man at the bottom of the stairs opened the door and then followed them out. Rowan quickly got her into the back of a large SUV, and they drove off in seconds.

She looked over her shoulder to see another SUV like theirs behind them.

Rowan took her hand. “No need to worry. Ben and I just don’t want to take any chances with you.”

“Ben is your brother?” she asked.

“Yes.”

They drove through the streets, and at four o’clock in the morning, she would have thought the streets and sidewalks would be deserted. It seemed New Yorkers like to be out and about at all hours. Fortunately, at that time of day, there was less traffic, so it was easy for them to drive down the streets.

She’d heard the saying that New York is the city that never sleeps, and now she knew it was true.

They pulled up behind another building, and men came out from everywhere to watch over them as they went in. There were a few inside the building until they got to the elevator.

Once inside, Rowan pulled her in front of him, with her back to his front, wrapped his arms around her waist and laid his chin on the top of her head.

“I want you to remember what I said. No harm will ever come to you when you’re with us.”

She looked up and over her shoulder before she nodded.

Jenna knew that in seconds, she’d meet Rowan’s brother, and it would change the rest of her life. She should have been terrified, but instead a certain excitement filled her.

The elevator doors slid open, and her eyes went to the large man across the room. He looked a lot like Rowan, but his facial features were more rugged, and his eyes darker. They were the same size, both tall and bulky with muscles. The only difference she could see was that Rowan wore jeans and a black t-shirt, while Ben wore nice dress pants and a button-down shirt in a light green color.

She stood frozen, unable to take her eyes off him, while she gripped Rowan’s wrists where they pressed against her stomach to hold her against him.

Jenna had been so captivated by this new man, she hadn’t realized they were talking about her. When she questioned them, Ben asked her to sit on the sofa. The first touch with Ben had her desire grow. It was like the way Rowan made her feel.

When Rowan sat beside her and took her hand, it helped settle her nerves a bit.

Chapter Six

The elevator door opened, and Ben’s breath caught in his throat. His brother had told him of her beauty, but she surpassed what he had expected.
