Jenna slid into the middle and was instantly surrounded by male muscle and heat.

She smiled as the men arranged her the way they wanted her. She ended up against Ben’s side with her head on his chest and then with Rowan curled around her backside.

There was no way in hell she’d ever be cold if they slept like this every night.

Chapter Eleven

The next day, Jenna was at the kitchen island making a list of things she needed. Ben was in his office a few floors down, and Rowan was in the shower.

She was surprised when the elevator door opened, and two very pretty females walked into the apartment like they owned the place.

“Can I help you,” she said as she stood and faced them.

Both stopped in their tracks.

“Who the hell are you?” one of them said.

“How about you answer my question first?” Jenna said, crossing her arms over her chest.

The woman growled and took a step forward when the other one grabbed onto her arm to stop her.

“Morgan, smell her. She’s Alpha and Beta’s mate.”

The one called Morgan lifted her face and sniffed. The color drained from her face, leaving her pale, and then her complexion immediately turned red.

The one that stood beside Morgan stepped forward. “Hi, I’m Noelle, and that’s Morgan. It took us by surprise because we hadn’t heard anything about you.”

Rowan walked into the room and stood by Jenna. “That’s because we haven’t officially introduced her.”

Morgan sneered. “Why? Because she’s a human?”

Jenna heard Rowan growl and looked up to see him scowling at the woman. “No, we have a situation we need to deal with. Now, tell me, Morgan, why are you here, and why do you think you can question me?”

Noelle took another step into the room and tried to smile. “I’m sorry, Beta. We were just surprised. Morgan didn’t mean anything by it. We are here to clean, and we brought a casserolefor you.”

“I appreciate that,” Rowan said. He looked down at her and smiled. “Would it be okay if they cleaned the apartment this time? It will give you time to decide how you want to deal with it.”

Jenna didn’t want to be anywhere around the woman, but she wasn’t going to rock the boat. “It’s fine. I’d appreciate it.”

Rowan bent and kissed her lips. “I’ll be in the office, three doors down.”

“Okay. I’m just making out a few lists,” Jenna said.

“You could always do that in the office with me. I have a comfortable sofa.”

“I’ll come in later,” Jenna said.

Rowan turned and walked away. She heard a door close before she turned back to the women. “Is there anything I can help with?”

Morgan’s eyes narrowed. “No. Just stay out of our way.”

Jenna raised her hands. “Fine by me.”

She turned to go back into the kitchen when she heard Morgan.

“By the way, the sofa is very comfortable. I’ve spent many hours on it.”

Jenna looked over her shoulder. “Good for you. It will never happen again.”
