They both laughed when her mouth dropped open.

“Oh, wow.” They looked so young. She presumed they were older than her, but she would have never guessed they were over forty years older.

“Will you ever age?” She hated the thought of them being young studs while she grows into an old woman.

“Yes,” Rowan said. “It will take longer for us to show our age, but it will happen.”

Jenna wanted to ask what would happen when they no longer found her attractive, but she decided to let it go for now.

“Any other questions?” Ben asked her.

“Not at the moment, but I will eventually.”

Ben squeezed her thigh. “You can ask us anything at any time. You’re our priority now.”

That surprised her. “Aren’t you the alpha?”

“Yes. Both Rowan and I lead the pack, and there will be times whenone of us will have to leave the building, but the other will stay in the area. We can’t be away from each other very much because we will all start to ache physically.”

She was glad to hear that. The thought of being alone and away from them made a kernel of unease build. She knew thateventually she’d get used to it, but until then, she’d have to stay strong and not complain. That was the last thing her mates would want or need.

“I’ll go call some of our guys to pick up your things. Why don’t you and Rowan find a movie to watch?”

She nodded and watched him go.

Rowan squeezed her. “He’ll be back, Baby.”

It was ridiculous to miss him already, especially when he was just in another room. She turned her attention to the TV while Rowan browsed through some channels until they found one they both liked.

Ben came back and sat down on her free side, and laid his hand on her thigh. It seemed both always had their hands on her, and she loved it. She never thought of herself as a touchy-feely kind of person until she met them.

She watched the sunset, making the room dark except for the light from the TV. Two huge, strong men were on either side of her, and she admitted to herself that this was the only time she’d felt truly safe in her life since early in her childhood. When she was a child, she found out that monsters really existed and realized that life was unpredictable and she had to be careful.

Jenna had discovered the hard way when her friend Lacy’s mother was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. She knew her friend would never be the same happy-go-lucky person she’d been before the tragic incident.

She’d tried to be there for Lacy, but her family wasbroken, and her father was doing the best he could to keep it together. They had moved when the girls were twelve, and she hadn’t heard anything from her since. She’d often thought of trying to find her, but she was afraid she’d just bring back memories her friend would have to deal with again.

“I know it’s early, but I think you need some sleep,” Ben told her.

Jenna nodded. “Where will you guys be?”

Rowan chuckled. “With you, Mate. We will rarely be apart.”

She smiled and then squeaked when Ben lifted her into his arms. “This is getting ridiculous, Ben.”

Rowan laughed as he walked behind them. “Good luck trying to change him.”

Jenna grinned when Ben just rolled his eyes.

Ben walked into the bathroom, set her on her feet, and handed her a new toothbrush and paste. It was only when the three stood at the counter that she realized there were three sinks.

Jenna wiped her mouth with a towel Rowan handed to her. “Did you guys plan the bathroom yourselves?”

Ben nodded. “We designed the bathroom with the hope we would find our mate.”

Jenna caught the heat of arousal mixed with satisfaction and joy. She was pleased she made them happy. She had no idea how fate operated, but she was pleased with how it worked out for them.

Rowan lifted the blanket. “Hop in, Sweetheart.”
