“His implants… can’t listen to music at such a loud volume.” She replied, never losing a step, dancing crazy in the front seat to her song.

Havoc looked at me in the rearview mirror and I smiled and mouthedtold you. He pulled out the back alley of the studio, and soon as he turned, the Bullies and IG’s surrounded his truck as we continued to Syn’s apartment.

We stopped by Syn’s apartment where she brought a bag as if she was moving into Quasim’s house. She brought us some natural pressed juices she didn’t want to go bad while she was away. When she made the second trip and brought out a small carrying bag with a bird and a perch, I was wondering what I got myself into.

“A bird?” Havoc said, as she sat his bag on her lap and pulled her seatbelt on.

She held up the bag with the African Grey and smiled. “This is Beaky Smalls.”

I cleared my throat. “You do know up at the lake they have big ass birds that have tried to steal neighbor’s dogs if left in the yard?”

“All he needs is a nice window and he’s fine… doesn’t make a mess, either… ain’t that right Beaky? It was all a dream,” soon as she started to rap, the bird started moving its head like he knew the whole song.

I’m almost certain he did know all the words.

By the time we made it back to the lake community, I had taken three naps and was drooling when I felt the car stop. Havoc pulled into the driveway of Sim’s lake house, and I wiped the drool from my face, quickly checking my phone to see if he had called me.

Just as I was about to call to check in on him, he came strolling out the house with Elijah behind him. He had on a pair of sweats with no shirt on, and of course, Elijah copied him without any shirt on. “Where my baby, Hav?”

A bitch nearly snatched her titties off trying to get this seatbelt from across me. “She said she wanted to stay in the city.”

Quasim’s face dropped and then he smirked when Havoc started laughing. “You were supposed to call and let me know you got here.”

He kissed my lips a few times. “I’m telling you now… wasn’t much time to call with the shit I had to do.”

Elijah was right beside him. “Hey, Elijah!

“Can I kiss you, too?”

I bent down enough for him to kiss me on the cheek. “Well, now I feel very special… two kisses instead of one.”

“Go change your clothes and come out, hoe!” Capri rode by on a dirt bike and turned into the driveway. “Hey Syn… change your clothes and is that a bird?” she asked.

“Let me know the vibe… dressed up, chill, or lake casual.” Syn went through everything that was probably in that damn big ass bag she packed. “Here, hold Beaky… be nice, Beaks, you never know, he might be your stepfather.”

Havoc stood there, allowing her to shove the bird’s bag into his hands as she continued yapping about the attire for tonight. That man would let her practice makeup on him, he was so smitten with her.

“Girl, just put on some comfortable clothes!” Capri laughed.

“Did Meer make it back home?”

“He’s taking a shit… said he had to take one the entire time the cops were chasing behind him.” Capri laughed.

“Nasty ass,” Simmy snickered.

“Can I ride, Auntie?” Elijah asked.

She smiled and waved for him to come. “I’m only going on the next block… I’m gonna bring him to my house before me and the girls walk back over here… y’all got the best view of the lake anyway.”

“Quasim has the best view of the lake.” I squealed when I felt him pinch my ass. “What? Is that not true?”

He got low to my ear. “You think I would be nutting inside of you, putting my dick in every one of your holes and tasting every part of your body and wouldn’t share a home with you, my love?”

The chills were so strong that I felt like I needed to hold onto something. Capri looked at us, and helped Elijah get on the front of the dirt bike. “Hmm, I’ll give you about an extra fifteen minutes before we come over.”

“Make it an hour.” Quasim winked as he picked me up off my feet and carried me toward the house while Syn and Havoc stood there.

“Havoc knows where the guest room is,” I told Syn while laughing at Quasim.
