“You look so young and fresh and not stuffy and businesslike,” Harmony said. “Put the shoes on with it and then we’ll tackle your hair.”

She rolled her eyes. No reason to argue. She could use all the help she could get at times.

She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror when she was walking to the bathroom and realized that the shoes were great with the outfit. It’d be something Harmony would wear and she’d think it was adorable.

It felt out of place on her, but she had to admit she did feel different in it.

“I don’t like putting my hair up,” she said.

“We are keeping it down,” Harmony said, “but just spritzing it so it’s not combed. Let it look a little wind blown and walking down the street will help.”

“If you say so,” she said.

“I do.”

She let her sister pick and pluck at her hair, and when everything was done, she was shocked at how much different she looked, even though she was only slightly amped up from her normal self.

“Here goes nothing,” she said.

“Here goes everything!” Harmony said.

THAT ANSWER IS ENOUGH

“Look at you,” Tucker said, opening the door. He hadn’t been expecting the knock and was surprised when he heard it.

“Am I interrupting anything?”

“Just my train of thought,” he said, his eyes roaming over her. “Damn.”

“You’re going to embarrass me if you make a big deal about this.”

Which meant she did it on purpose.

Any other woman would have shrugged it off about the fact that they’d sexed themselves up.

Not Erica.

He wasn’t sure she even had it in her and the fact she went to the effort told him everything he needed to know.

Was she in a sexy little number to be worn at a club?

No, and it was not what he’d want to see on her.

But this innocent little outfit was more than she’d normally wear and yet sexy at the same time.

Her bare shoulders and arms had a lot more tone to them than he realized. Who would have thought he’d be turned on by that?

Her hair was windblown, her little dangling rose earrings peeking out.

The floral shirt was a mixture of soft colors but still bolder than she normally wore. Her tan shorts were her normal length, but her legs looked longer with the cute sandals on her feet.

She had a gold bangle bracelet on her right wrist and a little daisy ring on her left middle finger.

“Nothing to be embarrassed about,” he said.

“Are you done absorbing it?” she asked. “Because your eyes are checking everything over.”
