Erica felt her face flush. They’d done those things before when they roomed together, but it was few and far between.

“There is no reason for that here when he lives alone down the street.”

“Good point,” Harmony said. “And you’re going to see him today?”

“Yes,” she said. She went to her office and started to pull baby plants that were blooming on her succulents. She’d re-pot them for him as a housewarming gift.

“Have you done the deed yet?” Harmony asked.

“That’s none of your business,” she said, keeping her eyes on the plants.

Harmony ran out of the room and she heard feet on the stairs. Before she left her room, Harmony was back and pulling Erica’s hand out.

“Here, keep this on you just in case.”

She looked down to see a condom wrapper in her hand. “Thanks,” she said.

“Oh my God,” Harmony screeched. “You’re going to have sex with him today. Normally you would have said something sarcastic.”

She turned to look at her sister and grinned.

“Don’t make me feel bad about this decision.”

“Never,” Harmony said. “I could just be super jealous.”

“Don’t be that either,” she said. “I need to plant these and calm myself before I make the move.”

“So it’s the first time?” Harmony asked, following her to the back patio. So much for her sister getting the hint.

“Yes.”

“I think you should totally make the move.”

“I plan on it,” she said. “He tells me all the time I need to loosen up. I’m getting there. But this time I feel it will prove to him that I am.”

Harmony hugged her from the side and was all but jumping up and down. “This move was the best thing for both of us. Though I’m not getting a piece of ass tonight. Or should I say bacon?”

Erica giggled. “Guess you need to find your own pig.”

“That was horrible,” Harmony said.

“Yeah, I’m not so good at making jokes, but I tried.”

“And trying is what it’s all about. I’m going to go look at your clothes and help you pick out something sexy to wear.”

She rolled her eyes. “Harmony, I’m walking down there with a plant in my hand. I don’t need to be wearing some sexy dress and heels. Talk about obvious.”

“I’m not saying you should,” Harmony said. “But you can be casual and throw out all sorts of signs at the same time. I know you. It’s going to be hard for you to say the words. Give him a few hints.”

“I didn’t think of it that way.”

Though she wouldn’t admit that the first time she and Tucker kissed she kept pressing her hips into his.

Not on purpose. Just her body wanted what it wanted.

“You play with your plants to calm yourself and I’ll take care of the rest.”

Harmony took off running into the house and Erica dumped potting soil into a pot she’d bought this morning and then started to plant the baby succulents around, giving them plenty of room to expand in their growth.
