“I think we’ve waited long enough for this, don’t you?”
“Stop talking, Tucker.”
He did, then lowered his mouth to hers. His lips gently touching and letting her know he was trying to be a gentleman.
She wasn’t sure she wanted that.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulled him closer and applied some more pressure.
He laughed. She knew he did.
But he didn’t stop kissing her.
He opened his mouth slightly, and she did the same, his tongue slid in and all the gentleness was gone.
This was a kiss that you dream of late at night when you’re lying in bed alone and want to be with the man who is turning you on.
When you want to reach for that person and hold them tight, maybe even remove some of their clothing.
She wasn’t alone and she was holding him.
She wouldn’t remove any clothing no matter how tempting it was.
But she would stand there and continue to kiss him.
Boy, he had some moves on him.
The next thing she knew, they were against a wall.Hewas against a wall.
“Are you trying to push me through it?” he asked, lifting his head.
“What?” she asked.
“Your eyes are all glossed over. You have been walking me backward while we kissed. I hit the wall.”
“I didn’t know I was doing that,” she said.
He leaned down and kissed her again. Light little pecks.
Not what she wanted.
“I’m trying not to tell you what I think is going on,” he said.
“Just tell me,” she said.
“You don’t know what you were doing?” he asked.
She couldn’t focus on anything with the way his mouth was moving around hers. Teasing her as he nipped.
“No,” she said.
“Your hips were pressing into mine. I don’t know how much control I’ve got so I’d lean back and you’d move forward again and here we are. So if you know what you’re doing, tell me and I’ll stop countering it. If you didn’t know, I did the right thing.”
“I didn’t know,” she said. “I guess it’s a good thing you’re more aware than me.”
“It doesn’t make me feel any better,” he said, laughing, and then took a few steps back.
“Sorry. I don’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
