“So, I was thinking…” Mikael came up behind me inone smooth motion, and leaned in to kiss my shoulder. “About thatsecurity detail.”

“What about it?” My answer must have sounded tooserious for him because he immediately re-doubled his efforts,nibbling at my neck until he elicited a moan from me.

“I worry when I have to be away from you.” He kissedhis way up to my ear, stubble scraping across the sensitive skinaround the areas he kissed. “I hate to worry,” he whispered into myear before he tugged my earlobe playfully with his teeth.

“Is this supposed to be you seducing me into heaviersecurity while you’re gone?”

“No, this…” he kissed along my jaw, until he finallycame up just to my lips. “is me starting negotiations.” He plantedthe tiniest of kisses on my lips before he pulled back and startedto walk away.

“Oh no you don’t! You don’t get to start somethinglike that, and just walk away!” I hissed at him as I turned to seehim disappear into our bathroom.

“Technically, I think you started it, disrobing theway you did.” His voice sent chills all over my body, even thoughhe was being nonchalant with his ‘hard to get’ routine.

“You’re a horrible man!” I sat on the bed naked asthe day I was born, bottom lip poked out, and pouted. He stuck hishead around the corner and laughed. Meanwhile, I managed to toss apretty nasty glare his way before he sauntered over to me, his lackof clothing now matching my own. The wonderful thing about a nakedman was that they couldn’t hide their attraction. He was definitelyjust as affected by what had already been started as I was. “Oh,this just became too easy,” I mumbled to myself.

“What was that, love?”

“Nothing.” I slithered off the bed, and trailed myfingers around on his chest as I walked right past Mikael to standin front of the bedroom window.

“What are you doing?” There was an edge to his voicenow.

“Well, I figured you might as well get used to mebeing watched all the time if I am going to have to get used to ittoo.” I lifted my hair up off my shoulders, basically posing withmy back to him, and hiding as much of the window as I possiblycould with my body.

“Damn it, Jess, get away from that window! You’renot wearing anything, and you know there are guards down there.” Hewas behind me, spinning me to face him when he noticed the window.The shade was all pulled all the way down. “You little minx!” Hepicked me up over his shoulder then and took me back to the bed,tossing me down none to gently. “So, you want to play dirty,huh?”

“I was just proving a point, my sweet!”

“Point taken, now, it’s my turn.” He climbed on topof me then, and grabbed my hips to pull me to him. We had alreadyhad all the foreplay we were going to get, apparently, because helined his hips up with mine, and one thrust later he had buriedhimself deep inside me. “You are mine. This,” he leaned off of meand trailed his hands down the curves of my body from my neck towhere we were joined, “is mine alone to enjoy.”

“Then we’re agreed that there won’t be any men inthe house, securing it, while you’re gone?”

Mikael growled at me and continued to thrust roughlyin and out of me. “There won’t be any other men in here,” he hissedthrough gritted teeth as he thrust himself into me once more. Ilaughed at his not so subtle meaning, and he smiled down at methen. “If you don’t want them inside the house, then they won’tbe.” He leaned in to kiss me, deeply, and when he finally pulledback he said, “you always get what you want from me. You’re spoiledlike that.”

“No, I’m loved like that.” I spoke in a sultry voicebefore locking my legs around him, and pulling him into me oncemore. “Now, shut up, and love me some more!” I couldn’t even hold astraight face as I spoke those words. Mikael laughed with me, butobeyed the order just the same.

At some point when the lovemaking was over weactually both managed to drift off to sleep for a time. In fact, itwas someone knocking at the front door that finally woke us justbefore dawn.

“You?” I questioned as I opened my front door to thelast person I thought I’d see on its doorstep. “What the hell areyou doing here?”

“Aww, what? You didn’t miss me sweetheart?” Thegruff voice laughed as he spoke. Mikael came charging up behind meto see who had the audacity to address me that way.

“I should have known.” He said grudgingly. “What doyou want?” Mikael asked as he threw the door open wider, only tosee that Nicholi wasn’t standing there alone. “Oh, hey Tessa, Ididn’t see you standing there. What’s up with the hair?”

“That’s okay, I doubt anyone could have seen me pastNicholi’s ego anyway.” She plucked at a few strands of her formerlygolden locks to show that they were now more of a cholate brown.“It’s only temporary, thankfully.”

I laughed before I remembered my manners and invitedthem inside. Avery Daniels had been standing behind them both,enjoying the little exchange we were having. It quickly becameobvious why Avery was at the rear of the group. He was hanging ontosomeone. “We definitely need to get inside before that sun rises,preferably to an interior room without windows.”

“Holy shit!” Mikael was shouting now. “Is that adark one? Did you just bring one of those vile creatures to ourdoorstep? Seriously, Avery?”

“What the hell?” I picked up where Mikael leftoff.

“We did a little sting operation last night.”Nicholi’s smug voice and expression really only added to my need topunch something or someone. “We dressed Tessa here up like one ofthe victims, and sent her out and about to look clueless. Sureenough, this idiot took the bait, and then we took him.”

“I figured you would both want a crack at him beforewe feed him to the sun,” Avery added.

“I want a front row seat for that. My hair demandsit!” Tessa looked at me then, “no offense.”
