“I do,” I breathe. “Fuck me.”
When they groan in unison as Matthias drives into me, my back arches. I never want this to end. It feels so right to have my mates inside me and I want more.
“Mark me. I want you both,” I urge.
Alder releases a feral sound when I bare my neck. The scrape of his fangs on my skin is divine. His claiming bite makes my mouth part on a silent cry at the sensations racing through me from the bond. After he laps at it, he moves back and Mathias gives me a crooked grin. He kisses me, then trails his lips down my jaw, my neck, and sinks his fangs into me with his claiming bite, doubling the intense pulse from the bond.
The fated magic cord signs in harmony, connecting the four of us together. I shatter, falling into oblivion in my mates’ arms. They have me. They’ll never let me go.
This is how it’s always meant to be. The three of them surrounding me, their bite marks left on my skin a permanent reminder that I’m irrevocably theirs.
Alder releases a deep groan and his cock pulses, filling my ass. It sets Matthias off and both of them dig their fingers into me while the three of us ride out our orgasms. We stay joined like that, panting and trembling.
Valerian tips my chin up for a soft kiss. “Are you okay?”
I nod, shivering with aftershocks. Alder pulls out first. I whimper at the loss and Matthias hushes me as he carefully does the same.
“You did so good, petal.” He rests his forehead against mine.
“That was amazing.” My smile is drowsy in a good,no thoughts, only orgasm comaway.
They’ve left my body singing, floating in a blissed out ebb and flow.
I can barely move after my last release. All I know is Matthias is holding me. Alder says something about a bath and a delirious laugh bubbles out of me. “This place is abandoned. I doubt there’s a nice bathroom, let alone running water.”
Yet it didn’t occur to me that we’re demons. He finds a basin and hauls it to the bedroom while Matthias massages my lower back with heat emanating from his hands. Valerian helps Alder fill it with seawater and in no time they have a steaming bath ready for me.
Valerian swirls his tattooed arm through the water. “What was that about doubting our ability to care for you, mate?”
“I’ll never doubt you again.” I stick my tongue out at him as Matthias helps lower me in, giggling when Valerian gives me a wry look and pinches my ass beneath the water.
The hot saltwater feels great against the ache between my legs and in my backside. I relax, closing my eyes as Valerian cards his fingers through my hair. Matthias perches on the other side of the basin and Alder kneels near my feet, reaching into the bath to massage my limbs.
They stay with me.
A smile tugs at my mouth. I have the missing pieces of my heart that have made me whole. Nothing will take this away from me.
CHAPTERTWENTY-EIGHT
LILY
After two day’s rest at our private little strip of beach at the lighthouse, I grow antsy and announce I’m ready. Valerian doesn’t want to hear it, but I argue with him that we’re giving Cessair and the other dicks on the council more time to play kings with their home.
“Our home.” Alder speaks firmly, getting between us before our fighting gets out of hand. “Yours and ours, Lily.”
I rest a hand on his chest, over his heart. “My home is wherever I go with you three.”
“You should rest more,” Valerian grits out.
“No. You said it yourself. We’re out of time.” I sigh, moving around Alder to cup Valerian’s jaw. He clasps my wrists. “We can’t put this off. They’ve stolen enough from me.”
A muscle in his cheek twitches and his grip digs into my wrists. “I know.” He exhales jaggedly. “Forgive me for being selfish.”
“I love that about you,” I whisper, then press on tiptoe for a bittersweet kiss.
My fear of this slipping out of my grasp rears up. I shove it back down and bury it inside.
The flame burning inside me that kept me fighting to survive was almost snuffed out by the time fate guided me to cross paths with my mates. They stoked the flame back to life, feeding it to a roaring inferno.
