“For what?” His featured cleared as he tilted his head to the side.
“For making you angry.”
Oliver shook his head. “We didn’t talk about this and I really didn’t think about it as a good Dom would.” He moved in front of her. “I don’t want you to kneel in front of me.” He leaned down. “Unless you’re sucking my cock,” he whispered in her ear.
Her breath caught in her throat.
“It’s sufficient for you to walk up to me and wait for me. Are you okay with that?” he said his voice soft but firm.
“Yes, Sir.”
“Good. Now I’m assuming you wanted something?”
Rose swallowed, wondering if this was a good idea after all.
“Go for it, Rose,” she heard Tessa say.
“Tessa,” Damon said her name in that low Dom tone.
“Yes, Sir. Oliver, Sir.” Rose swallowed again. “Would you scene with me tonight?”
His chin came up as he stared at her.
Her heart pounded as he stayed silent. Oh damn, did she mess this up? She didn’t think so, but why wasn’t he saying anything? Then she noticed his eyes were more green than normal, and brighter. She hoped that was a good sign.
“I’d love to scene with you. Shall we discuss it?”
Her stomach tilted. They’d talked likes and dislikes, she didn’t want to go into it again. “Do we have to, Sir?” She kept her tone respectful.
“We’ve not played before.”
“True, Sir, but we have been talking. We know each other hard limits.”
“I see.” He glanced around. “I want you to go wait in the green area. Do not attempt to see what I’m doing, I’ll be there to get you shortly.”
“Yes, Sir.” Rose walked down the small stairs and made her way to the green area. She made sure she sat on one of the sofas with her back to the play area. Her pulse kicked up with excitement. What did Oliver have planned for her?
Her anticipation ratcheted up the longer she had to wait. There was no one in the green area to chat with, and she wondered if Oliver had asked that they leave her on her own so she couldn’t distract herself.
After what felt like hours, Oliver stepped into the green area and held his hand out to her. Her hand shook when she slipped it into his.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Yes, Sir. It’s just nerves.” It was everything. Her nerves tingled and her tummy clenched. There wasn’t any fear, but maybe a little uncertainty. She trusted Oliver. These past few weeks showed her what a good man he was.
“Club safe words apply.” He led her over to the bondage area. Her heart seized up when she saw the Tormentor. She hadn’t played on the bondage system since Thomas, but Oliver turned to the scene next to it. Rose released a pent-up breath.
Oliver stopped and cupped her chin. “We’ll play on the Tormentor, but not until I think you’re ready. For right now—.” He led her up the stairs onto the stage. The bondage chair sat front and center.
“Oh my,” she whispered.
“I thought this would be good. I know you like being bound and for our first play session this will make us both comfortable.”
“Thank you, Sir.” He always thought of her. Heck, the one-time she’d been to his home, Oliver had offered to let her go through the entire house and look for signs of him being married or anything like that.
She’d appreciated the gesture, but she didn’t need it. There had been subtle signs with Thomas but she’d overlooked them. With Oliver, there were none of those signs. They were totally different men and she was happy with Oliver.
“How would you like me, Sir?”
