“You drove me crazy, baby.” I take her mouth. “But I plan to return the favor.” When I draw back, it’s only to lick a path over her cleavage and mark a trail down.
Further.
Further.
There.
Island screams my name.
I go to town, adding pressure and lashing her legs down when they shake hard enough to mimic a hurricane.
She writhes and moans, her nails digging down my back for relief.
I offer no mercy.
She’s so hot, so sweet, soperfect.I almost lose it on the spot. Slowing my caresses, I move from rough to gentle and take my time exploring her, kissing her, inhaling her scent, and relishing a heat that burns like the sun.
She mumbles her need for me in words more garbled than proper English would allow.
Drawing in a rough breath, I ease her further up the bed so her legs are no longer dangling off. I spread her thighs wider, discard the rest of my clothes and climb on top of her. But I don’t sink in immediately.
The last time, I messed up. This time, I need to make sure she knows, that she understands—I’m here with her.
She’s the only one in this room.
In my heart.
In my future.
I’ll be damned if I make the same mistake twice.
“I love you.” I poise over her, hands pressed on either side of her head. “You mean everything to me.” My lips find hers and I drink in a slow, languid kiss, pulling a drawn-out moan from deep in her chest. “You understand that?”
She nods.
“Let me hear you, baby.”
“I understand.”
“I’d buy another bank, a million banks, to make you mine.”
“Oh my go—” She grabs me. “Shut up and kiss me.”
I fit myself between her legs and seal my promise with a kiss.
And then finally, blissfully, I make love to her.
* * *
There’san Island-sized dent in my mattress.
I can still taste her screams in my mouth. Or maybe that’s just the ringing in my ears.
She warned me she was loud, but that was proven over and over as—with each progressive turn—she increased in volume.
And in sexiness.
I don’t mind going deaf if I get to make Island freaking Hayes scream her head off every night.
