Page 12 of The Alpha's Ordeal

"I can't believe what I'm fucking seeing. Our Alpha is sitting in the middle of town in front of everyone, flirty with a filthy vampire bitch." Luckily, there were no humans in the restaurant at the time, and one of the waiters quickly locked the doors, sensing what was coming next.

Eamon was shocked beyond comprehension that anyone would have the nerve and the gall to speak to him in such a way. Somehow, he'd let them believe that as an Alpha, he was soft, and it was time to show them otherwise. Eamon flew outof his chair, and before he reached him, the startled man started running for the door, and his friends tried to tackle Eamon. The construction workers weren't half as brawny and able as they thought they were.

The man was stalled by the locked door and the staff standing in front of it. With nowhere to run, he came back and jumped into the brawl. Eamon was wiping the floor with the bastards breaking bones and slamming bodies to the floor and against the walls. It was his opportunity to take out every inch of frustration he'd been feeling over the past few days.

He held the man who'd delivered the insult by the throat off the floor as he tried to free himself without success. Eamon stared into his eyes, burning him with a level of disgust and disappointment that only an Alpha had the power to deliver. He squirmed and tried to beg, but Eamon was beyond caring. The wolf was whining, and his friends, the two who were still conscious, were yelling for mercy but Eamon had none to give.

The only thing that stopped him was the one voice that had the power to cut through the chaos and rage that had overtaken him. The only voice he could hear, the only voice he would always hear, and it belonged to Troy. "Please don't kill him, Eamon."

Eamon held the man in the air a few more seconds and then let him drop to the floor, kicking him when he lay there still and silent. "Get up and get out of my Pack." He said, his voice deep and filled with derision. Eamon looked around the room, his eyes burning with fury as he dared everyone present to stand up and challenge him. The time of questioning their Alpha was over. His eyes fell briefly on his mate, who was being protected by Travis, the little waiter whose loyalty was solid and sure. He had good people in his Pack, and then he had those with like minds to the bastards currently littering the floor.

He stared again at the man who had so blatantly disrespected his mate. "I had every intention of ripping your head off. The only reason you live is because my mate pleaded for your life." The front doors opened, and Sean and Noah walked in quickly, assessing the situation.

"Noah, take these men to their respective homes and have them pack their things. Then, lead them off Pack lands and out of my territory. If anyone gives you difficulty, be they a friend or family of these men, remove them as well. If you need to spill blood or end lives in the process, you have my blessing."

Sean walked up to Eamon and gave him the files on Bates. “I fired the Sheriff.” He stated off handedly.

“I’m sure you had good reason.” Eamon didn’t question considering the temperature of the Pack as of late.

“I’m going to give Noah a hand.” He said and then added. “Nice work Alpha.” He smiled and then started hustling the men off the floor and towards the door. Once things settled a bit Eamon collected his mate and headed out. He thanked Travis for his attention to the Alpha Mate as did Troy who gave the young man a sweet but brief hug.

"You have some very loyal people, Eamon," Troy commented as they made their way back to the vehicle. Troy always seemed to look for the good in a situation, and Eamon could appreciate that, but right now, his blood was running too hot to see the good side.

"I also have sniveling bastards like those back there. Imagine he thought it was a good idea to insult the mate of his Alpha. Did he really think it would end well for him?" Eamon was ranting and he continued to rant all the way back to the Pack House. He parked and took a deep cleansing breath. Troy reached over and took his hand, holding it loosely.

"You were magnificent, my love. Your wolf was savage and wild and made my heart race with desire." Troy leaned across, whispering the words into his ear and running the palm of his hand down Eamon's chest. "I am so hot I'm about to burst into flame. What are you going to do about it?" His teasing reached a peak, and Eamon jumped from the vehicle and took Troy into his arms.

"I'm going to carry you to the house and ravage you, sweetheart, and that's just for starters." He said in the same teasing tone. "I'm to show you how an Alpha pleasures their mate, and I'm going to leave you begging for more."

"Begging; wow, that sounds amazing." Troy continued in his playful manner, and it was all Eamon needed to settle his mind and focus on all the things that mattered, with number one being his beautiful mate.

“I thought it best that you be warned.” Martindale said as the beginning of his approach to Castille Florin. “Your brother is in an unfortunate situation with a glorified enforcer. He’s using him and poor Troy is going to be hurt and humiliated. I just couldn’t stand by and watch it happen.” He poured on the grief and pain.

“Troy said Eamon Coles was Alpha and from my information that is correct.” Castille stated emotionless waiting to figure out whatever it was this caller was actually seeking.

"He is not Alpha. I am Chairman of the Council, and we would never place a lowly enforcer in such a role. He pretends to be, but it is simply a delusion on his part. The Alpha challenges will begin in a couple of weeks to decide on the new Alpha. Eamon Coles is nobody, and he means your brother harm." Martindale was pressing too hard.

Castille hung up growing tired with the exchange. He didn’t know Martindale and was not interested in his ravings. Troy was well able to take care of himself, but with that said he planned to call Troy or perhaps he’d stop by for a visit. It appeared that there were problems growing in the ranks at the Salida Pack.

Troy was not exaggerating when he said the fight downtown got him hot and bothered. Seeing Eamon go full out on those idiots was gratifying, and seeing the power that his beloved held was exciting. Eamon was full Alpha wolf, no doubt about it, and it was unlikely that anyone would dare to challenge him again. Troy had asked to spare the man simply because it was a restaurant, and death as bloody as the one Eamon planned would take months to clean out of the carpets and furniture.

Eamon had defended him against pack members and Troy had felt safe and guarded in his presence. The young wolf who stood guard over him had no issue with him being vampire. He was protecting the Alpha Mate, which was admirable but considering the young man’s size Troy wasn’t sure how successful he would be as a bodyguard, although he definitely had the heart for the job.

Either way, Troy was touched by his concern and hoped the other members were more like Travis and less like the loud-mouthed buffoons. Their blatant disrespect for both him and Eamon was surprising. He got a negative read off them as soon as they entered the restaurant but hadn't expected such a poorly thought-out attack.

“I think they were put up to the job.” He commented as Eamon carried him to the bedroom and set him down onto hisfeet and immediately began removing Troy’s clothing. Eamon paused for a moment and caught Troy’s speculative gaze.

“What do you mean?”

“I think there was someone else behind it all who got them stirred up. They were so on edge and explosive like they’d just left an ‘I hate vampires meeting’ or something.” Troy explained further.

"I wouldn't doubt that there are more, but purposefully winding someone up and sending them off to reap the results is damn cold and calculating." Eamon continued to remove Troy's clothes one piece at a time. Once the sweater was off he dropped down onto one knee and removed his boots and then his socks. "I think you're right. Noah and Sean will interrogate them before they're banished. In the meantime, I need you to stay close to me because I couldn't bear anything happening to you."

"I will gladly stay so very close, my love." Troy opened the snap on his jeans and pulled them and his tight briefs down, baring his hard, ample cock. Eamon was on his knee, so he took the opportunity to taste it. Troy rolled his head back on his shoulders and relished the sensuous touch of Eamon's talented mouth.

Eamon took him down his throat over and over, playing him and bringing him to the edge so fast Troy was desperately trying to hold back, but it was impossible. "Eamon, I can't hold on. I need to come." Eamon doubled down on the speed and the pressure pushing him so fast that Troy erupted in seconds, jerking and grabbing for Eamon to steady himself as he emptied down Eamon's throat.

He shook and tried to catch his breath, and Eamon continued to stroke and stimulate. Troy began to quiver once again and came a second time just on the sheer thrill of Eamon'shot, moist pressure and the fact that he'd plunged two fingers into his ass at the moment of climax. The man was a master. Eamon liked him clean and then looked up at him with a wicked smile on his lips.
