I resist the urge to deck him with great restraint. "We respect our guests' privacy, Mr. Roydon. What happens at Au Naturel stays at Au Naturel."
"Fair enough." He winks at me. "But come on, you can call me Miles. Mr. Roydon makes me sound like my old man."
Meredith steps in smoothly. "Miles, why don't we give you a tour of the resort? We can show you our amenities and introduce you to some of our activities."
"Sounds good to me, gorgeous," Miles winks at her.
I feel my jaw clench again, but Meredith squeezes my hand under the desk. Her touch grounds me which is the only reason I haven't decked him yet. So, I take a deep breath, reminding myself to stay professional. "Let's begin with the main areas of the resort."
As we exit my office, Miles saunters ahead, already slipping out of his clothing. His toned physique draws appreciative glances from nearby guests.
"So, where to first?" Miles asks, cocking his hip in what seems like a deliberate attempt to show off his dick.
"Let's begin with the pools and beach area," Meredith suggests. "It's a great place to relax and mingle with other guests."
While we walk, Miles peppers us with questions about the resort's history and our personal experiences. Despite my initial reservations, I find myself enjoying his genuine curiosity about...everything.
"You know, this place is pretty crazy," Miles confesses as we stroll along the beach. "I came here looking for a private getaway, but I didn't expect to feel so...free."
"That's what draws many of our guests," I tell him. "The freedom to just be yourself, without judgment."
Miles knifes a hand through his hair, suddenly thoughtful. "Yeah, I get that. In my world, there's always someone watching, judging. It's exhausting sometimes."
For a moment, I see a glimpse of vulnerability in the rock star's eyes. It reminds me that beneath the bravado, he's just a person seeking connection like anyone else.
Meredith smiles. "You're welcome to stay as long as you like. We have plenty of activities to keep you entertained."
Our new guest freezes abruptly, his entire demeanor shifting as something past my shoulder grabs his attention. One corner of his mouth kinks upward. "Could we skip the rest of the orientation bullshit? I see something I need to check out."
When I glance back, I see what he's talking about—a beautiful blonde with a killer body. "Sure, Miles, orientation can wait. Go have some fun. That's what Au Naturel is all about."
As Miles makes his way toward the bombshell in question, I sling my arm around Meredith's shoulders. "I think that man is going to be trouble with a capital T."
"Definitely. But just imagine the exposure the resort will get from having a celebrity vacationing here."
Oh, yeah, our lives will never be boring ever again. And we wouldn't want it any other way.
