“Close your eyes,” Kim said.

Petal closed her eyes and she knew this was it,this was happening, and that was when she heard it. The sound of the bikes.There was no gunshot.

“Predator?” one of the men asked.

“Shit,” he said.

“How the fuck did they find this place?”

“That bitch must have squealed.”

Petal didn’t know who was talking, but she knewthis was bad. With the sound of the bikes heading their way, there was not muchchoice. They were going to be killed.

“Predator, let’s go,” one of the men said.

Petal kept her eyes closed, but then someonegrabbed her around the throat and she tried not to whimper.

“Until next time, Whore.” Predator licked hercheek but without shooting his gun. He rushed out of the rundown house, and sheheard them starting their car.

“What is happening?” Petal asked.

“They’re running away like fucking cowards.”

Petal turned to watch the roaring engines as theSatan’s Death Riders MC came rushing down that dirt path toward them.

She didn’t care about seeing Warden or Myth, orColt. There were several other men there, but the one that caught her eye was Dirty.

He’d come to get her.

Chapter Thirteen

Petal was alive.

Kim was alive.

Warden had released the ties around his wife’swrist and then turned to Petal. Dirty watched as she was freed, and expectedPetal to hug Warden. Instead, she went to Kim, threw her arms around the olderwoman, and began to apologize.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”

Dirty frowned and looked toward Myth.

Raine had already been taken care of. The littlewhore had found Predator and several of the Evil Fuckers MC, and she admittedto feeding them the information they needed. The location of the drives and thedirections they were taking. She didn’t like that Rosalie and Colt weretogether and that Rosalie was pregnant with Colt’s baby.

There was a lot of jealousy, but this didn’t lookgood for Petal.

“I didn’t mean a word of it, I swear. Okay, thereis nothing going on between Warden and me, it was all, I don’t know, I wantedto confuse him.”

Dirty was confused.

Kim smiled and then cupped the other woman’s face.“I know.”

“You know?” Petal asked.

“Petal, honey, I know my husband, and I know he isnot stupid enough to step out on me. He has me, and that is more than enoughfor him.”

Warden laughed. “Do I want to know what is goingon here?”

Kim sighed. “He was going to kill me. He had a gunpointed at my head, and he wanted to send a message to you with my body. Petal decidedto start laughing, which distracted him. Then she proceeded to tell the EvilFuckers MC that you and her were having an affair.”
