Lockhart laughs, “Oh yes, do put Sasha on a video chat for me. I would love to speak with her and tell her all about her surprise. There’s someone that’s been missing her and he can’t wait to see her again. As a matter of fact, he’s probably already there.”
Xavier frowns at him before pulling his phone out and shooting off a text.
“I have a better idea,” Sebastian says, causing Lockhart’s head to swivel towards him. “Let's play a game.”
He pulls out a revolver and empties out all of the bullets into his hand before pocketing them and placing just one back in the chamber. He then spins it before closing it and pointing at Lockharts knee. “How about twenty questions?”
“I’ll start,” Xavier says, pocketing his phone. “Why did you kill your own brother?”
I raise my eyebrows at Xavier in surprise. Talk about going straight for it.
“I wanted to take over our father’s empire. He would have ran it into the ground. He had too many ‘feelings’," he says, making air quotes with his fingers. “The little shit was everyone’s favorite. Always getting whatever the fuck he wanted. He wanted to run off into the sunset with his friends like a third fucking wheel.” He turns to Jonathan and smiles before looking at me. “Sound familiar? The apples might not fall so far from the tree after all.”
“Shut the fuck up,” Jonathan says. “We are nothing like you. We would never hurt each other.”
Lockharts smirks, not taking his eyes off of me, “says the one with all those feelings.”
I glare at him.
“It’s not a coincidence, we all ended up in college together. It can’t be coincidence that both Riley and Kaz ended up at Bolt Corporation either. How the fuck did you swing that?” Sebastian asks from out of nowhere.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Lockhart says, goading him.
Sebastian doesn’t hesitate before pulling the trigger, making Lockhart jump.
“Should we try that again?” Sebastian asks, raising his eyebrow.
Lockhart puts his hands up to stop him, “I may have had a part with Riley applying to Bolt Corporation. I might have planted the bug in Nate’s father’s ear in hopes that she would get a job there so I could eventually get information on you when I took her. I didn’t think you would fall for the little bitch. She was supposed to be mine to sell.”
Sebastian growls and pulls the trigger. This time the gun goes off and the bullet hits Lockhart in the knee causing him to buckle and cry out when he hits the ground.
“What the fuck?” He screams. “I answered your fucking question, you prick!”
“I know. I didn’t like your answer though,” Sebastian says, shrugging his shoulders and pulling out all of the remaining bullets from his pocket before replacing them back in the chamber. He hands the gun to Xavier. “This game is boring now.”
Xavier takes it and points it at Lockhart. “You weren’t ever going to let Sasha and I go, were you?”
Lockhart laughs. It's strained and you can tell he’s in pain. “You, yes. You signed all I needed from you over. Sasha however, has always been my golden ticket to taking over The Triad. I was preparing to set up an arranged marriage for her until you came along and fucked everything up. Don’t worry though, I’m sure her little friend will be seeing her very soon.”
The gun goes off, hitting Lockhart in the shoulder. He howls out in pain before pressing his hand to the wound.
“How long have you been watching Kaz?” Jonathan asks as he walks over and grabs the gun from Xavier’s hand.
“Long enough to know you two have been fucking her. Long enough to see that she has turned both of my spawn intoweak little bitches. You’re both fucking pathetic, letting some whore..”
His words are cut off by Kaz's fist connecting with his jaw. Blood flies from his mouth and his head whips sideways making both Jonathan and I grin in unison.
“Fuck, Pretty Girl,” Jonathan says, adjusting himself. “That made me so fucking hard.”
I look down to see the blood has indeed rushed down to my dick. “I concur, Kitten. That was sexy as fuck.”
She looks at both of us, smiling wide.
“As much as I would love to watch this little show, we should probably take care of this situation first, preferably before the police show up and wonder what a bunch of lawyers are doing torturing someone,” Xavier cuts in.
“How did you find out about Jonathan and I? Did you know we had been to The Cellar?” I ask. I wasn’t going to but I know now, that if I don’t, I might always wonder.
He spits out a glob of blood and smirks at me. The blood coats his teeth, disgustingly. His eyes dart towards his car before flicking back towards me. Is he thinking about trying to escape because if so, he is out of luck. There's no escaping this time.
