“Where?” he barks out. Colton rolls his eyes, then lowers the waistband of his shorts just enough to show part of the bandage on his hip.
Sebastian’s eyes are furrowed as he pulls up a chair, then he yanks Colton’s shorts all the way down, revealing more than just his injury.
Well, okay then.
Sebastian carefully removes the bandage and I come around the bed to see the angry wound thatthank fuckdidn’t hit any vital organs. I let out a breath, relieved.
“Did Leena do the sutures?” I ask, noticing how the stitches are different from how I know Colton would do them.
“Yeah. She did a great fucking job, considering we were in a moving helicopter,” he says.
“She did these in the chopper?” Sebastian asks, looking impressed. Then he puts the bandage back into place, and slides the man’s shorts back where they belong in a manner that’s… gentle.Huh.
“Yeah, she did,” Colton whispers, smiling over at Leena. And neither Sebastian nor I miss the admiration in his tone.
Or the way he’s looking at her right now.
I pull up another chair to sit by Sebastian while Colton gives us a run-down of everything that happened back at the penthouse.
Then, I brief Colton on everything we know. “Ryan wasn’t able to figure out how they hacked our system in the short time we gave him before coming here, but he downloaded the entire server database so he can keep working on it. The only thing he could tell, is that whoever hacked our security system took more precautions to cover their tracks than most would,” I tell him, still frustrated by this entire situation.
“So they have something to hide,” Colton says.
“Seems so,” Sebastian agrees.
We’re all silent for a long moment, then Sebastian leans back in his chair, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes between Colton and Leena.
And I swear, I see every ounce of blood drain from Colton’s face.
“So did you play ‘find the piercing’ with Leena?” Sebastian growls out.
“What? No, I–” Colton panics, looking between us.
“She’s wearing your T-shirt, Colton,” I remind him.
He runs a hand over his face, working his jaw.
“Yeah, I found it,” he says, not making eye contact, and I swear he’s blushing.
Which is… fucking weird.
“With your fingers or your tongue?” Sebastian asks. Apparently, he’s diving straight into this conversation in the delicate way he handles fucking everything.
Colton looks between the two of us again, then takes a deep breath before answering, “My cock, actually.”
Our eyes both go wide, then shoot to Colton’s.
Because,fuck.
I know we told Leena she could, but I honestly didn’t expect it this evening. Not after seeing he was shot.
That must have hurt like hell.
Sebastian rubs a hand over his jaw, processing the information.
“Are you guys… okay with that?” Colton asks, and the look in his eye is both pleading and anxious.
I take a breath. “We’re okay with it,” I say, and the relief on our friend’s face reminds mewhywe’re okay with this. He was truly concerned about our reactions, and I don’t doubt if we asked him to cut it off, he would. But we’re not going to do that. Not after he risked his life to save hers. And definitely not after we found her sleeping soundly after everything she went through today.
