Luke lets out some sort of noise as well, but neither of us are willing to take our eyes off the screen.
“Can we keep her?” He asks.
“God, I fucking hope so.”
Chapter Twenty-Three
LEENA
Iended up taking on another double shift, but I have to admit, this time has certainly not been as fun as when I closed up two nights ago.
When I got to the car in the parking garage, I found my men already standing against it, their arms crossed with scowls on their beautiful faces.
“What?” I asked innocently, but I knew I was in for it when we got home. In fact, I’m still a little sore from that evening.
I smile.
I half expected them to jerk off to my little display and I definitely expected them to be angry about the mailman incident, but these men never cease to amaze me. They didn’t take their own pleasure and instead, they kept me up all goddamn night, fucking me over and over. They made sure I didn’t get any sleep at all, then they sent me to work the next day at five in the morning with absolutely no sleep at all as my punishment.
They were too amused by the mailman’s reaction to even be mad about that, but I’m not allowed anywhere near him ever again, which I figure is fair.
The only way I managed to get through yesterdaywas with copious amounts of coffee. And by the memories of how they used those police handcuffs onmethis time.
“Okay if I leave early? You good to lock up?” Tasha asks, but it’s not really a question when your coat is on and you’re already halfway out the door.
“Yeah, I’ll finish up,” I say as I continue onherclosing duties before heading to my locker. When I pull out my phone, I see that I have several missed calls and texts from both Sebastian and Luke.Shit,I must have turned my ringer all the way off by accident.
I swipe the screen to unlock it, but before I can click on the first message, I hear someone behind me. I assume it’s one of the guys, or maybe Tasha forgot something, but before I can turn around, a throbbing pain shoots through the back of my head. My vision swims and my lungs feel heavy as I try and fail to take in a breath.
I collapse to the floor, my world slowly fading to black.
Chapter Twenty-Four
LUKE
“Drive faster!” Sebastian demands from the passenger seat.
“Do you want to drive?!” I shout back.
“Yes!”
“Well too fucking bad! I’m going as fast as I can,” I say and he sits back into his seat, loading more cartridges into varying magazines.
By the time we figured out that the coffee shop was surrounded, it was too late. In under a minute, they had already taken her. We were idiots to assume that they would only send a dozen or so guys, same as last time. But how could we have known that they would send a whole fucking army?
When Sebastian and I fought our way out of the building and to the car, we immediately took off after her, following the tracker on her necklace. The one we put on her phone went dead before it even left the coffee shop, so thank fuck for our paranoia or we wouldn’t have a chance in hell of finding her right now.
It’s nearly forty five minutes later when Sebastian notices that the dot on the screen has stopped moving.
“It’s an old warehouse outside of town,” he says. “Fuck.”
“What?” I ask, looking over at him quickly before putting my eyes back on the road so I don’t kill us before we even get there.
“It’s Jack of Spades headquarters,” he says.
“Shit, are you sure?” I ask.
“Pretty sure,” he says.
