“Fuck, I’d love to see that.” I cock a brow at her. “But I’m telling you,Ican do it better.”
“Yeah right,” she laughs.
“I can.”
She looks me up and down, a sense of challenge churning in her eyes. She turns around and locks the door. “Prove it.”
“What?” I ask, blood racing hot through my veins.
“Prove it,” she says again.
“You seriously want me to?” I ask.
“Yes.”
“There are no cameras in here, Reese.”
“Do you need them?”
“Not at all.”
She grins, something wild flashing over her eyes. “Then prove it.”
CHAPTER 6
REESE
Holy shit.
Did I really just tell Nash freaking Stokehill toprove it?
Yes, yes I did.
My heart races in my chest, adrenaline surging through my veins.
I locked the door. Who the hell am I?
I’ve never been this bold before.
Is it because the thing we have going isn’t real? It’s all-inclusive no-strings fun?
I blame his kiss.
He’s too good at it. It transformed me into a needy little thing that can’t say no to him and doesn’t want to.
“Say it one more time for me, Reese’s Pieces,” he says, taking a step closer to me.
I grin. He may be a cocky bastard sometimes, but he always wants clear and concise confirmation of consent from me. It’s really refreshing when some of my exes didn’t ever bother asking after we’d gone official.
Not that Nash and I were official. Business partners. That’s all.
Business partners who are clearly attracted to each other, and I can’t deny the boost of sheer confidence I feel rushing through me from the way he’s looking at me.
“I want you to prove it, Stokehill,” I say, my voice betraying the slight hint of nerves I feel. I mean, we’re about to get more intimate than a simple kiss for the cameras. It may mean nothing to him, but it’ll mean something to me. “If you want to,” I add. “You’re not obligated. If you were just boasting?—”
“I wasn’t,” he cuts me off, then spans the space between us, his mouth colliding with mine.
I gasp, my eyes instantly closing as his lips press against mine.
