Mom: Honey, do you think I could borrow a little cash? Spider is being tight-fisted this month.

Mom: I’ll pay you back with my winnings. You know I’m good for it.

Mom: Marley? Hon? You already on the train?

Sorry! I was trying to find a seat.

There’s cash in a pink envelope in my top dresser drawer.

Mom: Actually, I already had to borrow that.
