“What?” I pretend to not hear.

“Coach Shay.”

“Oh.” I glance around as if I hadn’t noticed him over by one of the bookshelves. The man does not blend in. “He’s new this year.” I try to sound bored as I place my phone on the table and turn back to the computer.

“I think he’s watching you,” she whispers again.

“You’re a dork.” I fake a laugh.

“If you say so.” Tins stands. “But I’ll leave you to it.”

“Later,” I respond but maintain focus on the screen.

Tins says goodbye, and I wait a few seconds before I glance back to make sure she’s gone. When I look over at where Coach Shay was standing, I see he’s gone too. Shit. I reach for my phone just as someone else drops into the chair that Tins vacated.

“Leave me alone,” I tell Parker before he can open his stupid-ass mouth and make me do something I’ll regret. I really don’t need to end up back in Principal Vale’s office.

“See, Charlie…” Parker moves in closer, and I can feel the heat of his body. I want to lean away, but I won’t give him the satisfaction. “I think you’re dying for my attention. Otherwise you wouldn’t go out of your way to fuck with me.”

I huff a small laugh. “Is that what you think? Do you really believe you’re running around the playground and I'm pulling your pigtails?” I shake my head before I meet his gaze. “I fuck with you when you give me reason to. If you didn’t run your mouth so much, then maybe I wouldn't have busted your face.” I watch his expression go from cocky to pissed.

“How about I give you something to do with your mouth?” I open my mouth to speak but stop when a hand lands on Parker’s shoulder.

“Is there a problem?” Coach Shay’s hand flexes, and Parker winces.

“No, sir.” He chokes as Shay’s fingers squeeze.

“Then get to class.” Shay releases his hold, and Parker practically leaps out of his chair with a speed that nearly knocks it over. Coach Shay catches the top to prevent it from falling.

“You found me.” I turn my head to stare up at him.

“I did.”

He stares at me, and from his expression, it doesn’t look like he’s happy about it.

Chapter Eight

COACH SHAY

“You need to stay away from me.” The words come out of my mouth, but there’s no heat behind them. Even I don’t believe them as my eyes move up and down me. I know everyone wears a uniform here, but the one attached to her body taunts me.

“So you keep saying.” Charlotte leans in and raises an eyebrow. “Yet here you are.”

“You’re a tease.”

She huffs, and I see the grin pull at the edge of her lips. “Me? Never.”

“You rolled your skirt up.” I glance over at the librarian to make sure she’s not watching as I slide my hand under the table. The bare skin of her thigh against my fingertips is so fucking soft. I want to groan at the feel of it and touch more.

Her lips part as her eyes widen.

“Don’t make a sound,” I tell her as my fingers snake higher under her skirt. “Let me do it.” When she spreads her knees and invites my hand higher, I lick my lips. “Good girl.”

We’re on the other side of the room from prying eyes, and the librarian can only see the top of Charlotte’s head. But anyone could walk around the corner and see what I’m doing. It’s dangerous, and I should stop.

Too bad I don’t know how.

My fingers brush against the cotton of her panties before I quickly tug them to the side. Her eyes widen as I trace up and down the seam of her already wet cunt.
