“What’re you doing?” I ask her.
“Talking,” she answers, simply.
“Well, you should be in bed. With me.”
“Come on, it’s cold we should go inside anyway,” Adam tells her, standing up and I see their clasped hands as he pulls her upto follow. They walk past me, but I wrap my arm around Max’s waist to pull her away from Adam and back into me.
“You’ve been away from me for too long, killer and I’m going to need a taste of your sweet pussy soon. I’ve missed it. And I know she’s missed me too.”
Her sharp intake of breath is all the answer I need, and I surge my hips against her, letting her feel my already hardening cock that’s been dying for her.
“You wish,” she sasses.
I chuckle darkly. “You can deny it all you want. Your body doesn’t lie, but if you don’t want to admit it that’s fine. I know exactly how to get what I want. And you love it every time.”
She turns her head slightly, bringing our faces close together. “And I know how to drive you crazy by fucking Drew or Adam in front of you. Maybe both, and you can’t do a damn thing about it.”
“Try it, killer. See what happens.”
I let her go and she stumbles slightly, walking inside. I follow after her, and when we’re back in my bed, I make sure to pull her against me tightly so she knows she’s not getting away without me knowing again.
Adam doesn’t wantto go to Uncaged in the morning, but Max insists that we all get back to our normal routine assuring us that she’s really okay.
“I need to go see if I can get my job back.” She sighs, like she just realized that was something she’ll have to do.
“We talked to George, he’ll take you back no problem,” I explain.
“Or, you could come work at Uncaged,” Adam offers easily.
“And do what? I’m not a coach.”
“No, but you can help with admin tasks, I’ve needed someone working the front desk,” he tells her, though I’m pretty sure it’s a lie.
“I don’t know, I like working at the bar. It’s nice to get away from you guys sometimes.” She smirks.
“Excuse me,” Drew growls, grabbing her from behind and burying his face into her neck. “You’re never getting away from us.”
She chuckles, haphazardly trying to push him away.
“Well, you two have fun today. I’ll make sure to keep Max entertained.” I smirk at her.
“You’re not training?” Adam asks in disbelief.
“Not today. I’m going to spend time with my girl and make sure she’s doing okay.” I look at her and the daggers she’s glaring at me.
“Right.” Adam looks at her. “Well guess I won’t look at any fights for you anytime soon, then.”
“Why?”
“If you’re not going to train then you’re not ready to get in the cage.”
“Don’t pull that bullshit with me,” I snap. “I’m always ready to go and you know that.”
“I can stay back today, too,” Drew offers.
“No,” I snap immediately and he narrows his eyes at me.
“I’m not sticking around just for you all to fight. I’m getting back to my life, and that starts with asking for my job back. So you guys can figure out your shit, on your own.” Max waves us off, walking back toward my room. That’s soon to be our room because she’s not getting any distance from us, no matter what she thinks.
