Writhing beneath me, Blake moans softly as I keep kissing my way down her body, not missing one curve or crevice. Taking my time to explore her body completely. I pay extra special attention to her breasts, licking and laving until she’s arching under my ministrations. My hands replace my mouth and I mold and squeeze, plucking and teasing her nipples.
“Angelo…”
“Patience, kitten.” I look up, now hovering above her belly button, my shoulders wedged between her thighs, and lock gazes with her. “You know where I’m headed next, don’t you?”
Pressing a kiss to her flat stomach, I instantly remember that there’s a baby in there. Well, a very, very tiny one. I hesitate and wonder if there’s any way I can hurt the baby.
As though reading my mind, she smiles. “We can have sex up until I deliver. I asked, so don’t worry about hurting anyone.”
I let out a relieved sigh. “Good to know,” I say, running my fingers over her stomach, “because not being able to make love to you every day, all day during our honeymoon would’ve been quite the bummer.”
She chuckles. “I never pegged you as someone who says ‘make love’.”
I swirl my tongue around her navel. “With you, how could it be anything else?”
“Charmer.”
I nip her hip. “Always. Now lay back and let me take care of my wife.”
I’ve finally reached my destination, spread her legs further and lick up her hot, wet seam.
I am home.
A few days later, Blake and I are sitting on the large back porch, overlooking the woods. In three days, we’ve had more sex than I think I’ve ever had in my life and we’re both exhausted. Taking this moment to recuperate and relax is nice and exactly what we both need to recharge.
Lifting my mug, I take a sip of black coffee and contemplate how much my life has changed in the past three and a half months.I’ve gone from a carefree, eternally single bachelor to a happily married man with a baby on the way.
“How did this even happen?” I murmur softly.
We’re holding hands and Blake squeezes mine.
“I was just thinking the same thing,” she admits, and we both laugh.
“It’s just amazing,” I say. “Our entire lives have changed in such a short amount of time. And I’ve never been so happy—because of you.”
“Same. You have no idea how lonely I was before you, Angelo. Every day was getting harder and harder.”
“You’re not alone anymore, Blake.”
She sends me a beautiful smile. I swear, every day she’s glowing more. I’m not sure if it’s because of the pregnancy or because I make her so happy. I’d like to think it’s a little of both.
“Thank you for that,” she murmurs softly. “Taking that job turned out to be the best thing I ever did.”
“It turned into quite the adventure, didn’t it?”
She nods. “You know what my favorite part was?”
“What?”
“Throwing back that shower curtain and getting my first look at you.” She lifts her hand and fans her face. “Bet no one ever surprised you quite like that before. Or kidnapped you.”
“That was definitely a first,” I admit with a chuckle. “I don’t suppose you still have those handcuffs, do you?”
Arching my brow, I send her a very heated look. I can think of quite a few ways we could put those babies to good use.
“As a matter of fact, they’re in my bag.”
My mouth edges up in a smirk. “You don’t say…”
