I was about to tell her I wasn’t, but I’d definitely been admiring his body, so maybe I’d just keep that to myself. Shrugging, I laid the menus on the table. “Wasn’t eye-fucking him. Was trying to remember what his name was,” I finally said, despite my recent internal battle.
If I wasn’t in a relationship, and had no problem doing casual, then I’d let that boy do things to my body that would get me burned alive in church. He was just as attractive as Ashton, Jameson, and Kash.
They all dropped into the seats around the table, looking at me with varying expressions of distaste, except for the two boys that were with them. They looked like they wanted to pounce, and I didn’t hate it all that much.
Maybe it was pent-up sexual frustration, because right now, the mail man sounded appealing. And he was old.
I snorted at that. I needed to get laid. Maybe I’d see if Lucas would let me crash there tonight.
They all rambled off their drink orders, which I quickly wrote down and then left them to it, thrilled to get away from their table. I got to work fixing their drinks. But my mind was on another planet. Emma’s face flashed in my mind, her innocence so refreshing that it made me want to shelter her forever. She was in the purest stages of childhood, where she still believed in fairytales and white knights. How disappointed she’ll be when she found out that the world was a much darker place.
Sighing, I lined all the drinks up on a black tray, making sure they were positioned correctly so none of them fell. Dragging the tray to the edge of the counter, my hand flattened beneath it, and I lifted.
I approached the table with drinks in hand, easily dodging Crystal’s foot that had been extended in an attempt to trip me. She’s done that one too many times over the years, and I was more cautious around her because of it.
I smiled sweetly, my eyes narrowing at her. She smirked in response, lifting her shoulder in a nonchalant shrug.
I passed the drinks out and started on their meal order before putting it into the system for the cooks. I knew no one from my table planned on tipping me. They were bitches. So, I hoped to God that another table came in soon.
Vivienne blew out a breath as she moved to stand beside me behind the counter. Her hands were wrapped around her narrow waist as she glanced around the bustling diner.
“Caught up?” I asked.
“Finally.” She huffed, brushing a sweaty strand of hair behind her ear.
While I waited on the food for my table, I busied myself with wiping down dirty surfaces and restocking. The remainder of my shift was busy, and I walked out with around four-hundred dollars. That was the best night I’d had in a while. Crystal did actually tip me, telling me that by the looks of it, I could use it. It was a five-dollar bill. Colt slipped me a twenty to make up for it though, once his friends had already walked outside.
As soon as I got home, I showered, checked on my family, and sent Briley a text, telling her I’d be at Lucas’s for the night.
The drive to the fraternity was long. Probably because it was on campus, and I lived a good fifteen minutes from the Southside. The building towered over me, surrounded by freshly cut grass, and a yard that extended on both ends, pouting into the woods behind it.
This was where most of the parties were held, and of course, the other frat houses and sororities held parties, too. But this one was the most popular. Lucas was good at being in charge. He was kind, outgoing, took all their feelings into consideration even though he was higher on the social ladder. I never cared about that kind of thing much, because of typical stereotypes. When you thought about the popular crowd, you thought ofpeople like Crystal, who bullied everyone beneath her and used others as a means to an end. Lucas wasn’t like that, though. He was popular because of his openness—because of his caring nature.
I sent him a quick text before stepping out onto the pavement. A few of the upstairs lights were on, but for the most part, the frat was asleep. Grabbing my bag, I threw it over my shoulder and started up the pathway to the mansion.
The door opened before I reached it and Lucas stepped out wearing a T-shirt and some sweats, making him look a lot different than how he dressed during classes. I preferred him like this. When he didn’t have a care in the world and could just be himself.
His bright smile lit up the darkness blanketing us. It had relief spilling through me, thankful that he wasn’t annoyed with me showing up so late and on short notice. As soon as I was in touching distance, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into the warmth of his chest. His hair was ruffled, like he’d been tossing and turning in bed with restlessness. He grabbed a handful of my ass which sent a spike into my hungry libido. Craning my neck, I allowed my lips to brush against his.
We started dating last year. He’d been a persistent little fucker, but I was glad I’d given in. Even if my life was in shambles at the moment, and probably for the foreseeable future. Being with him made me feel like an average college student. Like there wasn’t a war waging around me or at my house. He leaned against the building right next to the door that he’d pulled closed moments before, pulling me against him with hungry determination. I rubbed against him with that same ferocity, sucking his lower lip between my teeth. A groan rumbled through his chest at the action, his hands drifting beneath my shirt, trailing a pattern of heat up the skin there. I’d put my work skirt back on without the pantyhose, knowing he’dlike it. I was bare underneath for easier access, which he’d figure out soon enough.
He was panting when he pulled away, his eyes ignited with hunger. “You want to head upstairs?”
“Let’s do it right here.” I grinned, dropping my bag on the porch.
Hesitation flashed across his face. He wasn’t the ballsy type of guy—the kind that would have sex out in the open and risk being caught. But to me, it sounded hot as fuck. The mere thought of it had my legs tightening, and my breaths coming out in short, fast bursts.
“Someone could see.” He motioned to the windows above us, but I was too far gone to even give a shit about that.
“What are the chances of someone peeking through their window at this hour?”
I didn’t give him the opportunity to fight me on it, though. I reached forward, grabbing his hard dick through his pants. He hissed in response, dropping his head back against the house with a thud.
A smirk curled around the edges of my mouth, my fingers working to his waistband. Pausing for a fraction, my eyes met his. This time, there was no reluctance there, just pure desire. Excitement shot through my core and I pulled his pants down past his thighs before dropping to my knees. My tongue slid against the tip of his cock, my other hand pumping him up and down before I wrapped my lips around him and started sucking just how he liked.
“Fuck, Everleigh.” He grunted, winding a hand in my hair.
This only spurred me on. My cheeks hollowed out, bringing him to the brink of an orgasm, but I pulled back before he could release and then rose to my feet.
