Oh, for fuck’s sake. How the hell did he guess it? His eyes go wide, and he’s on his feet now, staring at me like I’ve just announced I’m secretly an alien.

“Wait—are you?”

I roll my eyes, but I can’t hide my grin. Wordlessly, I take the test out of my pocket and hold it high.

His reaction is instant. “Oh, fuck! No way.”

“Yes way,” I say, biting back laughter.

“Iknewit!” His face lights up, pure disbelief and joy pouring out of him. Joseph, sitting on my lap, giggles at the sight of his dad practically jumping up and down like an overgrown kid.

“But how?”

“Immy-girl, I know you like the back of my hand. I justknewsomething was up—a gut feeling. Holy fuck.”

Before I can blink, he’s on his knees in front of me, staring at the test like it’s a damn treasure map. His voice cracks as he looks up. “We’re having another baby?”

I nod, and I can’t stop the tears spilling down my cheeks.

His hands find my face, and his lips crash into mine—hard and fast, a messy, grinning kiss that tastes like everything we’ve beenthrough together. I laugh against his mouth, and he pulls back, his green eyes bright and boyish.

Then, before I can even process it, he’s plucking Joseph off my lap and tossing him into the air. “We’re having another baby, little bean!” Harrison declares, his voice loud and full of pride.Little bean.My heart swells. “You’re gonna be a big brother, J-man!”

Joseph squeals, giggling as Harrison catches him and blows a raspberry into his belly, his tiny fists flailing in delight. Harrison finally stops, panting for breath as he settles Joseph back down.

“Wait,” he blurts, his words tumbling over each other. “Is your body okay? Like, are you okay to do this all again? I mean—are yousure?”

Oh, bless this man. Always so full of life, so reckless in so many ways, but when it comes to me—he’s careful, thoughtful. God, how did I get so lucky?

“Yes, Harrison,” I roll my eyes, laughing softly. “It’s been over a year. My body is fine.”

“Oh, your body is fine as fuck, that’s for sure.”

He leans in to kiss me again, but Joseph, ever the jealous little dictator, wedges his tiny hands between us. “Mine! Mama!”

Harrison groans, leaning back as Joseph clings to me, babbling defiantly.

“Listen here, buddy,” Harrison says, pointing at him. “She was mine first.Ineed to kiss your mama.” Joseph’s response is a determined string of nonsense, and I can’t hold back the laughter bubbling out of me.

“I can’t wait to tell everyone when we get home,” he exclaims.

“Me, too,” I say, watching Joseph tug on his soggy pool towel. “We’re going to need more space. A bigger place.”

“I know. We’ll figure it out when we’re back home.” Harrison stands, pulling me up. “For now, let’s have brunch, put this little monster down for a nap,” he leans in, his lips brushing my ear,“and then see how many times I can get you to scream my name when you come all over my mouth, my fingers, my cock.”

Heat flashes through me, his words stirring something deep and electric. I smirk. “Guess I’ll have to put my favorite lingerie to good use.”

He gasps, loud and dramatic. “Is it the blue set? If you say yes, I might combust on the spot. Better yet, don’t say anything. Surprise me later.”

I burst out laughing, clutching my stomach, as Joseph tugs impatiently at my hand. I give Harrison a playful shove, biting my lip. But my mind is already spinning, and I can’t fucking wait. Our little family is growing, and so is my heart. With every new step, every laugh, every messy, chaotic moment, life just keeps getting sweeter.

“Fuck me, sugar. I’ll never tire of seeing you like this,” Harrison growls. His eyes stay glued to me as I let the straps of my favourite blue lingerie fall from my shoulders, teasingly slow.

“Joseph went down fast tonight,” I say, smiling as I take my time. “A really long day, huh?”

He nods, his tongue darting out to wet his lips. “I kept him busy. Tired him out well. Now, sugar, stop stalling.”

“Oh, you poor thing,” I taunt, running my fingers along the edge of my bra, watching his chest heave. “Hands to yourself, Harrison.” His hands, halfway to reaching me, snap back to the bed. He groans like it physically pains him.
