Page 46 of Rowdy Hearts

Who was I to deny her? Especially when I wanted exactly what she was asking for. I opened to her in, let her tongue slide into my mouth and curl around my tongue. Then I put my hand on the back of her head, held her steady and took over. I chased her tongue back into her mouth and tasted her the way I wanted. Hungrily. Completely. My other arm wrapped around her waist, locking her body against mine, and my lips moved over hers. Hungry. Too damn hungry for only knowing her for a day.

Then again, I knew what I liked, and I liked her.

The way she tasted. Hot and sweet. And hungry for me. Everything she did made it clear we were on the same page. And that page apparently included standing in the damn parking lot making out like horny teenagers. Because that’s exactly what I felt like right now.

Tilting my head, I opened my mouth even wider, wanting to consume her. But she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and short-circuited my brain. My cock immediately wanted to join the party. I’d been semi-erect since we’d gotten in my truck at the arena. Now it was a full-blown hard-on. And not even the cold was helping to calm me down.

Not that I wanted to calm down. My hand at her back was sliding around to her hip to urge her even closer. She was several inches shorter than me, so my cock nestled up against her belly. And was enjoying the hell out of being there. Same with my lips on hers. My fingers curled into her hair streaming down her back. I held her tight, even though I didn’t think she wanted to go anywhere. Not if the way she kissed me was any indication.

No, she seemed to be just as into this kiss as I was. Her breath hot against mine, her hands curved around my hips, fingers biting into my flesh. Yeah, I liked that a lot.

I also liked the way she arched into me, her head falling back just a little more so I could taste her even deeper. If I wasn’t careful, I’d be trying to fuck her up against the truck and that was not cool.

So not cool.

But damn, it’d be hot as hell.

“Hey, you two. You gonna join the party or you wanna freeze your asses off out here?”

The laughter that followed wasn’t enough to break us apart. At least, not at first. I kept my lips glued to hers, turning my head and deepening the kiss.

Christ, I could do this all night. Her lips were soft and so wereher curves. I wanted to run my hands all over her, but I didn’t want to put on a show for my so-called friends.

“Dude, let the lady breathe, for chrissake.”

Her lips curved in a smile beneath mine, and I pulled back so I could see her. Her eyes remained closed for a split second before she opened them and stared straight into mine as her smile widened.

“For the record,” she spoke softly, I had to lean closer to be able to hear her. And since I was this close, I wanted to kiss her again. “I could breathe.”

I let my gaze drop to her lips, slightly swollen from the kiss. Fuck, that was hot.

“Then I guess I’ll have to work on my technique.”

“Your technique is fine.” Her voice rasped against my libido, made my cock throb in my jeans. “I think we just need to find somewhere a little more private.”

I felt like I’d just scored the winning goal of a championship game. Something I didn’t think I’d ever do. And I wouldn’t care if she kissed me again…then used her mouth on other parts of my body.

But I was probably getting ahead of myself. Unless I was reading the look in her eyes right. Then all bets were off.

“I can make that happen.”

Her eyes crinkled at the corners as those lips curved in the sexiest smile I’d ever seen.

“But I gotta buy a round first.”

Her gaze flipped over my shoulder for a second, at the gathering crowd. I wondered if she’d be embarrassed by their PDA. Hell, we hadn’t known each other more than a day, and we were already trying to suck each other’s face off. But I wasn’t complaining. And I hoped like hell she wasn’t going to, either.

When she looked back at me with a grin, I knew she wouldn’t.

“Then let’s have a drink.”

CHAPTER TWELVE

Tressy

“So you’re staying with Rowdy?”

Nursing my second beer, I shook my head at Olivia, one of the Angels. I hadn’t had more than a glass of wine with dinner in months, and I didn’t want to embarrass myself by being a lightweight.
