“Something like that,” I mutter, shooting a glare up at her brother.
“Ahh, do I wanna know?” She looks between Bishop and me.
“I don’t know. Do you wanna know about your brother tying his naked girlfriend to his headboard, then leaving her there while the fire alarm went off?”
“What?!” Bee hisses. “What the fuck!”
“It’s not like that,” Bishop growls. “I was going to get ice.
“Ice for what?” Jonas asks.
“Really?” Bee gives him a look.
“Oh.” Jonas grins.
“Fuck off. All of you,” I groan, burying my face into the blanket. I can’t believe this is happening.
“I’m so sorry.” Bishop tries to take me from Toby, but he moves me away. “Don’t fucking start,” Bishop growls.
“After what you did, I’m not leaving you alone with her,” Toby mutters.
“I didn’t mean to.” The hurt in Bishop’s voice has any anger left over bleeding away. “Lilly, baby, I didn’t mean to, okay. I’d never leave you like that on purpose. I was doing everything I could to come back to you.”
“I know,” I whisper, deciding to put the poor guy out of his misery. “It’s okay,” I tell Toby.
His face is hard. “No.”
“Toby,” I warn.
He stares at me for another moment before grumbling as he hands me over to Bishop.
Bishop holds me tight, murmuring sorrys against my head as he kisses me.
“How about no more leaving the room if I’m tied up, okay?” I joke.
“Never again,” he promises. “I’m so fucking stupid.”
“Got that right,” Toby says.
“Enough.” I glare between the two of them.
An officer comes out letting everyone know it’s safe to go back in, that it was a false alarm.Damn fucking drunk kids. Assholes.
Bee and Jonas follow us in, saying goodbye at Bee’s and my room. They’re only here to get a change of clothes before heading back to the hockey house.
The three of us head into the guys’ room.
Bishop walks me over to his bed and sits me down. “Alright. You two, sit. Talk. We’re doing this now because the fact is, I’mwith both of you. You both know by now I’m not choosing, and I won’t be tolerating pissing contests. Got it?”
They look at each other, none of them saying anything for a while.
“Okay, fine. Let’s start with how I felt when I found out you two were seeing each other behind my back,” Toby starts. “Betrayed. Hurt. Jealous. I asked you to look after the one person who meant the most to me in the world, and you went and got feelings for her.”
“I’m not sorry about it,” Bishop huffs. “I’m sorry we lied to you. But I’m not sorry for falling in love with Lilly. I spent years pushing down my feelings for her, because I knew how you felt. I did that for you. Seeing you hurt her, I didn’t have it in me to continue denying my feelings because you were pissing your chance away.”
“So your plan was to just steal her away?” Toby glares.
“No!” Bishop snaps. “I always knew I never stood a chance when it came down to her picking between us. So when she told me she wanted us both, I knew I didn’t care. I just wanted her, in any way, she was willing to have me. Even if that meant her being with you too. Because in my brain, that wasn’t a surprise or new to me. I always knew that in some form, this was how things were going to happen.”
