“And I never will because it’s a done deal. The sky is blue. Your eyes are the kind of gold that makes me wonder if you’re even real, and you’ll marry me someday. Facts are facts, Wren. No need to mix up words.”

She rocked into me the smallest bit. “So if I’m pregnant right now?”

Shit, the idea of her round belly had me fighting another erection. Her pussy rubbed against me as I squeezed her ass.

“If you’re pregnant right now, then in nine months we’re gonna have a beautiful kid.”

I pictured one with her hair, her eyes, her smile. A little baby girl.

“Fuck, now I sort of want to get you pregnant on purpose,” I joked, laughing into her shoulder.

Her cunt was wet again as it slid against my shaft. “Yeah?”

I gripped her ribs while I rubbed my now hard length against her slit. She hadn’t used the warm rag yet so her pussy still had my release coating her slit. Her mouth parted as I lifted her and adjusted her over my erection.

She went slowly as her breathing regulated and she adjusted to me filling her up.

Then with a moan, she rocked forward. “Fuck me again Archer.” With her lips right at my ear, she whispered, “Then fill me so full you leak out of me all day.”

Her hands were around my neck, and I placed my hand over her mouth as I began moving my hips.

Wren and I emerged from our room forty-five minutes later, showered and dressed. The boys’ room was empty, so I assumed Anna had come to get them. Wren practically glowed as we made our way down to the kitchen and while I knew she wasn’t pregnant based on the first time we fucked without protection, she still seemed like there was a brightness to her that hadn’t been there before.

“Good morning,” Wren said happily to her mother who was sipping coffee at the table while Kane and Cruz watched a tablet.

“Morning.” Anna gave us both a knowing smile.

I wasn’t embarrassed. Let everyone know I fucked my woman this morning. Speaking of everyone…where were all the other people who seemed to be here yesterday?

Wren asked for me as she looked around.

“Where is Juan, and everyone else?”

Anna set her mug down gently. “Presley is in her family wing with Kyle and his wife, Rylie. The twins are training in the gym with Scotty. Juan and Taylor are walking together in the garden.”

I was about to mention needing to leave when Anna stood up from the table.

“Would you be willing to stay a few more days? Just a few so we can spend time with you all? So everyone can meet the boys, and get to know Archer.” Anna’s gaze gently landed on Wren. “So we can know you.”

Wren’s eyes watered as she looked over to me. I needed to get back, but I’d sent Thistle on his way this morning after he slept in one of the guest rooms. He could handle what I couldn’t for a few days.

So I smiled and replied, “We’d love to.”

TWENTY-EIGHT

WREN

My face hurtfrom smiling but in the realest, best way possible. I hadn’t laughed this much in my whole life. It was our third evening visiting with my brother and his family when his sons finally joined us.

It took a few days for them to come around, not just because of how they had acted with us, but the leak they’d discovered that allowed Saul to know about the tunnels, the perimeter, and the dogs were linked back to them. Now Kyle was out hunting this person down, and the boys acted like two pups who’d had their noses rubbed in their mess.

Once they finally did come around, things were tense at first. Archer watched them warily, as if he were watching a thief move near his home. Juan’s gaze was hard as he studied his son’s expressions while they walked in, and even Taylor was somber. It wasn’t until Cruz walked up to Kingston with a remote controller and asked if he knew how to work the game that the tense atmosphere began dissipating. They moved into their large living room, wearing sweats and t-shirts like they were little kids coming in for a family gathering on some holiday. Kingston had messy bedhead, and Gio’s was covered by a backward facing hat.

They sank into two large chairs and faced Kane and Cruz.

“You want to learn how to race?”

Cruz agreed excitedly, and Kane joined in, sitting right next to him. The large, flat screen lit up with a game, where players were being chosen.
