“I guess it does,” Christian says with a laugh.
“You won’t mind the extra drive time every morning?” Callum asks, brow raised.
“Not if it means I get to pick Linus up after. I think that’s a win,” he says.
Walking together to the kitchen with us, he wraps his arms around my shoulders.
“I guess we have a lot of things to celebrate,” he murmurs.
“Are orgasms included?” I ask, feeling giddy.
“Always,” Christian says. “Prepare for a late night.”
That’s not a punishment, ever.
CHAPTER 40
CHRISTIAN
Callum took me aside after dinner to the patio to talk, and Duncan followed us out quietly.
“I know we’re in an awkward place as our pack forms,” Callum says. “I want us to be on equal footing so you can never say that this house isn’t yours or that you don’t feel like you have a place.”
“We really didn’t like you to start,” Duncan says honestly, shrugging as Callum snorts.
“That’s fair because I didn’t much like myself,” I mutter. “I wanted to be someone worthy of Linus and Quinn.”
“I think you are now,” Callum says. “Most importantly, they do too. They want you to be closer to them. Domh will get the paperwork to me to make it official.”
“I’ve been on a long hiatus, I’ve been getting phone calls,” I sigh. “I may need to go back to work next month, but will limit my travel.”
“I don’t think they expect you to permanently stop your life,” Duncan says. “We do a lot of our work from home because that’s how we set up our businesses.”
Folding my arms over my chest, I consider things. “I only traveled as much as I did so I could make an excuse to see them. The people I deal with would probably agree to a virtual option if I can guarantee that it’ll be secure,” I say.
“I can make that happen,” Callum says. “We can go through what’s needed, and go from there once you decide to go back.”
“I’ll figure it out once the construction on the transitional living apartments is done. I don’t want to leave,” I sigh. “Maybe I’ll start back slow with the ones that are blowing up my phone first.”
We chat logistics for a little longer before we head back inside. Pack Dresmond is doing the dishes while Adira and Damon work on their schoolwork, but I don’t see our omegas. Continuing on, we walk upstairs.
“I need a shower,” I grunt, knowing I put in a long day outside.
“You’re the one who promised them a long night,” Callum snickers. “I’ll grab a shower too. They’re probably unwinding and discussing their days. Quinnie stole a large amount of money from ROWS today.”
“That’s fantastic,” I say, grinning widely. “That’s my girl. Who did she give it to?”
Knowing Quinn, she’d never keep it.
“Omega’s Haven,” Callum says, disappearing into his room.
“She’s such a giver,” Duncan says, chuckling under his breath as he also disappears.
I have a room I’ve been staying at while I’m here, and as I walk inside, I come to terms with the fact that it’s now my home. It’s surreal that I’m getting along with the Kelly brothers whenthey despised me. Everything is so different from the day Linus and Quinn disappeared.
Walking across the room to the bathroom, I slowly pull off my clothing to throw it into the hamper. My cock is already hard with the promise of spending time with our omegas, and I turn on the water, not waiting for it to warm up.
I just need to get clean.
