The message was marked as seen a second later. I held my breath as the seconds ticked by. He was probably checking out my profile, the same as I’d done before messaging. Before I could get too into my head about what he might think of it, he answered.

MrNiceGuy: hey

I paused. I had no idea what I was supposed to say. How did people talk to each other on here? Were we supposed to chat first, or was he expecting to just jump right into the sexting? I should have thought this out better.

MrNiceGuy: your silence is telling me you’re either nervous or too busy checking out my pics to answer

Sinbin: the first one

Sinbin: I have no idea what I’m supposed to do right now

MrNiceGuy: I’m guessing you’re new?

Sinbin: oh yeah

Sinbin: you’re the first person I messaged

Sinbin: and the first profile I swiped right on

I cringed. I shouldn’t have admitted that. I was already making things awkward and weird; I didn’t need to add being completely inexperienced to the list.

MrNiceGuy: really?

Sinbin: yeah

MrNiceGuy: I’m honored

MrNiceGuy: what’s making you nervous?

Sinbin: everything lmao

MrNiceGuy: how about you give me some specifics and we’ll see if I can make you more comfortable
