“No, and when I asked, I knew she was telling the truth,” she said. “I know this is unconventional and maybe too soon, but she makes me feel what I felt for you in the beginning.”

My heart warmed.

“I think I’m falling for her too,” I said, adjusting myself to get more comfortable.

“You think she will want us?” Camila sighed.

“I hope so,” I said, feeling confident. “I think we all feel something even if some of us don’t like feelings.”

“I think she was always supposed to be ours, even before she entertained the thought.” Camila brushed her hair out of her face. “I think we just have to show her how great we could be together. We can shoulder her burdens or can support her while she is down, but I want this.”

“Me too, I think we should wait before bombarding her with more emotions,” I said, looking around. Thankfully we were able to have our moment in peace, when Genevieve moved again.

“Of course, I just want to show her what it's like to have people there for her.” Camila leaned back looking at me with her beautiful green eyes. “I want to show her how good we can be for each other.”

“I want that too,” I said, feeling a little more at peace.

“I think I’m going to go see what the cafeteria has since we haven’t eaten much and I’m sure she hasn’t either,” she said, getting up. “Want anything in particular?”

“Water, please,” I said. “Maybe a hot tea or a coffee?”

“Coffee for sure,” she said leaning over, giving me a soft kiss. “Te amo.”

“I love you, too,” I said against her lips.

Camila walked away looking back at us one more time before rounding the corner. I sighed, getting comfortable again, wishing I was by a wall, but there was no way I was going tomove and wake up Genevieve. I felt her move slightly and I was positive she had probably been awake for our conversation.

“You don’t have to keep pretending to sleep,” I said.

“If I keep pretending then that means I can be oblivious for a little while longer,” she mumbled into my chest.

“You can be oblivious for a little while longer, but I need to get off this floor,” I said, picking her up and taking her to a small bench they had off to the side.

“You don’t have to hold me,” she said, sounding so sad.

“I always want to hold you,” I said, sitting down on the bench, tucking her against my chest.

She sighed, relaxing in my embrace.

“How much did you hear and do you want to talk about it?” I figured we might as well talk about it. “We don’t have to talk about anything if you don’t want to.”

“I just heard Camila say she wanted to show me how good we could be together and to have someone here for me,” she said softly.

I suspected she had heard more, but I could’ve been wrong. I didn’t want her to hear we were falling in love that way. I wanted her lucid and in the moment when we told her we loved her.

“Are you ok with that?” I rubbed her back.

“Luke, I think I need?—”

“I know,” I said, interrupting her. “I know why you did it, but it doesn’t hurt any less that you didn’t come and talk to us when you were feeling doubtful or scared.”

“I regretted even agreeing to it the moment I stepped into the room,” she said with a shaky breath. “I wasn't thinking clearly and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, but I didn’t know how that would make you feel since you had just heard about your parents.”

“I get why you both did it, and if I was in your position I might have done the same, but as you've always stressed with us,” I sighed, “This doesn’t work if we aren’t honest.”

“I've always been in control. That’s why I loved being a Domme. I controlled everything, how I made you feel, how I felt and when I made myself available. I was self-sufficient because I didn’t want to be like my mom who only thought she was worth something if she was with a man,” she said, sitting up on my lap. “You scared me, and that ugly inner voice told me I was just temporary because why would you want me in your relationship when you both have each other?”

I made her look at me. “How could we not want you, Genevieve? You are an amazing woman and being with a man won’t ever define you. This is about what you want. If you don’t see yourself with us, then I will understand, but don’t walk away without letting us say our peace. I think we deserve that.”
