Lilah’s brow furrowed. “What else would have happened?” she asked, confused.
Killian flashed me a smirk, then lifted one hand to cup Lilah’s chin, pulling her attention to him. “What do I smell like to you, Lilah?” he asked.
Her eyes widened a little, and Emmett and I both leaned closer as her tongue, pink and wet, darted out along her lower lip. Her scent was heavy in the air, making it impossible to look away.
Killian’s eyes lowered to her mouth for a second before he focused on her eyes again, seemingly determined to make his point clear.
“I...don’t know,” Lilah whispered.
Killian shook his head and pressed a little closer, looming over her as his eyes flashed gold. “Don’t lie, baby girl,” he growled. His grip tightened on her chin a little, but not enough to hurt her. I was sure of that; I was watching like a hawk.
She let out a tiny whimper, and Emmett rumbled again low in his throat at the sound. Killian didn’t let her turn away from him, though. He lowered his face so that his lips brushed over hers before whispering, “What do you smell?”
Lilah let out another needy sound and then said, “You smell like you’re fuckingmine.”
Emmett’s growl couldn’t be ignored this time. In a flash, he was on his feet, and then his hands were around Lilah’s neck, cupping either side as he lowered his face to bury it in her neck. Lilah let out a soft gasp, then moaned when Killian pressed his lips against hers in a desperate kiss.
Emmett stroked her neck, pressing his lips to her shoulder, and I watched—helpless and painfully aroused—as Emmett’s teeth flashed out.
Then, he sank them into her shoulder.

Lilah
Killian’s lips were soft but firm against mine, making my head cloud with the same ravenous need that had made coming here seem like such a good idea back at the club.
And the jolting pain from the other alpha’s bite—Emmett, I think— was deep but not enough to break the skin, I instinctively knew. His teeth were still blunt and human, and he wasn’t the Prime. There was no bond being offered.
I moaned into Killian’s mouth, and one hand flew back to clutch at Emmett’s hair, the tickle of his tongue against my skin making my core throb. My lack of panties was almost painfully apparent, and I whimpered as Killian took my bottom lip between his teeth and tugged at it just enough to make the skin sting before he released me.
My eyes fluttered open, and he smirked at me, his pupils blown. His nostrils flared, and vaguely, I was aware of the fact that my scent had gotten so much stronger in just the last few seconds. Emmett’s soft growl—the same one that had made my pussy clench before, even when he wasn’t actively trying to affect me—made me whimper.
The gentle creaking of wood pulled my attention towards the third alpha in the room, the one who had been questioning me like I was a witness on the stand. Oliver was staring at me with a mixture of aggressive hunger and reservation, and his blue eyes were heated. His hands were curled around the edge of the table—the source of the creaking sound I’d heard—and as I watched, his jaw flexed as if he were restraining himself from shifting and baring his teeth at me, demanding my submission.
And god, I wanted to give it. If this was how I was going to react to alphas as a group going forward, I was pretty much fucked. I’d never thought much about what it would be like to be an omega, but if this overwhelming pull, this aggressiveneedwas just par for the course...
I whined again, the sound desperate and needy, and Emmett sucked on my shoulder one more time before gently detaching his teeth, dragging his tongue over the tingling marks before he pulled away.
“Talk to us, sweetheart,” he growled. When I glanced over my shoulder, his dark brown eyes were narrowed, but not with aggression. There was some of that, don’t get me wrong, but more than that, he was looking at me withconcern. His scent flooded my nose, and I couldn’t stop myself from groaning a little as everything in my bodyyearnedfor him—smoke and cedar and leather, everything masculine and hard.Delicious.
“Um?” My voice was hazy, and I clenched my thighs together, desperate to hide my arousal from the three very sensitive alpha noses surrounding me. Killian’s fingers dug into the top of my thigh, and I groaned softly, my legs falling apart immediately despite my rational mind’s very reasonable reservations.
The tension in the air immediately ratcheted up, and Emmett groaned, his hand slamming down on the table next to me. It was a testament to how turned on I was that I didn’t flinch at the loud sound, but then a louder, more aggressive growl from the third member of their pack stopped all three of us in our tracks.
I turned to face Oliver, who looked a little surprised at his reaction as well, and Killian chuckled softly before he stood and pulled my chair out, leaning down to brush his lips against my ear. “Go to Oliver, baby girl,” he said quietly. “He’s the one you need to show.”
Killian didn’t elaborate on what I needed to “show” Oliver, but I couldn’t deny the part of me that wanted to go to him anyway. My stomach squirmed, and I gently trailed my fingers over Emmett’s shoulders as I passed him, gratified when even that tiny touch was enough to make some of his tension drain away.
A glint of something that looked dangerously close tofearwas in Oliver’s eyes when I approached him. Everything inside of me screamed for me to soothe this alpha, make him understand that I wasn’t a threat, and help him know that I would never do anything to hurt him or his packmates.
So, instead of speaking to him and trying to use my words to soothe his fears, I did the only thing that felt natural.
I sank to my knees in front of him, a tiny voice in the back of my mind grateful that they had a thick, decorative rug under their dining table that protected my knees from the jarring impact of kneeling directly on the hardwood floor.
Behind me, Emmett and Killian both inhaled sharply, and I knew they could smell the spike of arousal that had flooded me at my blatant show of submission.
“Lilah...” Oliver’s voice was tight, and his gentle touch under my chin made me sigh. I looked up at him, my eyes fluttering a little when I saw how close to me he was. He was hunched over, his face inches from mine, and the warmth of his scent—citrus and something sweet and spicy— settled over me like a warm hug, making me yearn to be closer to him.
