“True. So do you want to buy some shots and go over to them?”
I nodded. “I think that’s a good idea. Let’s start with something fruity, then work up to something stronger.”
Raleigh flagged a bartender down. “Four lemon drops.”
The bartender nodded, and once he made us the shots, we approached the girls. Lucia’s friend was facing us, and her eyebrows went up when she noticed us. She nudged Lucia, and they both turned when we reached them.
A knot formed in my throat when I came face-to-face with Lucia. Her caramel-colored skin was a perfect compliment to her dark brown hair and eyes.
She was fucking gorgeous.
“Hi,” her friend greeted.
Lucia just smiled as I cleared the lump in my throat. “Hey. We wanted to see if you’d like to take some shots with us?”
“Hell yeah,” the friend answered. My eyes met Lucia’s, and she quickly averted her gaze, cheeks turning pink.
Raleigh handed the friend a shot while I handed Lucia one. “My name’s Jameson. This is my brother, Raleigh.”
“Elizabeth,” Lucia answered as she took the shot from me. I heard the friend introduce herself to Raleigh as Olivia.
I arched a brow, wondering why she was lying right off the bat. “Are you from around here, Elizabeth?”
“No,” Olivia answered. “We’re on a road trip.”
“Oh, nice,” Raleigh said.
“Are you from here?” Lucia asked me.
“Kind of. We live about an hour and a half away in a town called Laughlin.”
“Are you guys real bikers?” Olivia asked.
I nodded, glancing down at my cut. “Yep. Forsaken MC.”
Lucia eyed me up and down. “And you’re the sergeant at arms?”
I smirked. “Yep. Our dad is the president of the club.”
“Wow, really? Is he super hot, too?” Olivia asked.
Raleigh and I both laughed. “I guess most women think he’s hot,” Raleigh answered.
Olivia and Lucia gave each other a look, then her friend raised her shot. “To hot bikers.”
We all took the shot, and Lucia winced before taking a sip from her yard drink. “Not a shot person?” I asked.
She shook her head with a small laugh. “I don’t have a lot of experience with alcohol.”
“Yeah, she’s a lightweight,” Olivia teased.
I gave Lucia a warm smile. “Nothing wrong with that. Alcohol can lead to bad things.”
“Or good things,” Olivia giggled before sipping her drink.
“Are y’all looking to party tonight?” Raleigh asked.
Olivia leaned in toward my brother. “What did you have in mind?”
