Nina's brows furrowed. “What?”
I locked eyes with her. “We should open a male/female strip club.”
She laughed as if I'd made a really funny joke, then stopped when she saw I didn't join in the laughter. “You're serious?”
I shrugged. “Why not? Neither one of us have a career or financial obligations.”
“Well, one, we don't have the money to invest in something like that. Two, we don't have the education or experience to run a business. And three, do you really want to own a strip club?”
“You just said it was a gold mine. If my dad can do it, we could definitely do it.”
Nina shook her head with a laugh. “Let's talk about this some other time when we're not drinking.”
I clinked her glass with mine. “Deal.”
After a couple more drinks and dances, I excused myself to go to the restroom. When I entered the main lounge, my eyes were immediately drawn to him like always.
Standing by the bar staring at me was none other than Ford Lawson.
