“What the fuck?” Priest roared.

His piercing was gone. He licked his lips and tasted cunt. He blinked fast. Cyrus and Linc were already starting to laugh.

A blinding white hot pain kicked up in the back of Priest’s head. He gritted his teeth. He hated his wife. He missed his cock piercing. But at least Bee’s cunt tasted wonderful.

In the outlaw world, you had to take any wins you could find or kill for.

Chapter Two

Bananas n’ Cucumbers

Did you know there are many ways to make someone disappear?

Eden left her phone on the table and walked to the bathroom of her small apartment and looked at her reflection in the perfectly clean mirror. The bathroom had the soft scent of lavender. The porcelain sink, toilet and tub shined as though they were freshly installed and unused. That was the power of anxiety and fear mixed together.

Do not fucking fall for his shit again, she whispered to herself in her head.

She steadied her gaze and did not allow herself for a second to feel anything negative. Cody was nothing more than an abusive prick. Forced to wear the title ofexfor good reason, even if he didn’t want to accept it.

The locks have been changed twice.

I’m safe.

Of course Eden knew that was a lie.

She couldn’t remember the last time she actually felt safe.

Liv was always up for mixed drinks and gossip. Especially when it came to Eden’s job.

Liv worked at an art gallery, sometimes decorating, sometimes selling paintings, and sometimes painting some of her own stuff. Her life thrived in the arts and she kept to that world. She and Eden had been friends since college when a computer error paired them up in a dorm.

An art student with a science nerd. That in itself wrote plenty of fun experiences, but their friendship never stopped growing.

Sometimes Eden felt Liv could get too annoying, thinking that working in a hospital was like they show on television shows. Sure, there were intense moments and scary moments. Moments of wild sadness. Things Eden had seen that gave her nightmares and would remain in her memory forever. But the idea of constant drama and everyone fucking each other and hot doctors walking around all the time…

It really wasn’t like that at all.

Of course the second Liv got wind of a biker being in Eden’s care, her annoyance jumped to a whole new level. Liv stood in front of the television.

“Look where I paused it,” she said to Eden.

Liv’s eyes were fuzzy and her cheeks extra red. Her signal to the world that she was buzzed.

“Liv,” Eden said. “Please…”

“I mean, some of the stuff in this show is based on real things, right? Like real bikers and motorcycle clubs and all that. It’s real. It’s out there. You’ve seen it. I know you have. See how they all sit at the table. So you think your bikers have that?”

“My bikers?” Eden asked, lifting her eyebrows.

“You know what I mean. You’ve seen it. The way they come and go. You were in the room with…Priest…?”

Eden swallowed hard. “You know there are things I can’t talk about. Legally. There are laws about—”

“Oh, but his gigantic dick was okay to talk about? Or the fact that he had his dick pierced and you got to take it out?”

Now Eden’s cheeks turned red. The bathroom door opened and out walked Sophia, wearing their old college name on a hoodie from that college which felt like a lifetime ago.

“What did I miss?” Sophia asked. She glanced at the television screen and groaned. “This again?”
