Page 35 of True Me

The door slams open as the three people enter the room I’ve been held in and I try to figure where they are in the room. It doesn’t take long for me to realize I’m now surrounded by Fawn, Chad, and the newcomer. Their breathing is heavy and I almost get sick when the body odor of the two men surround me and overwhelm every other sense and smell in the room.

“You’ve got two fucking choices here, Rebel. You can either sign the paperwork and give me what I’m owed or you can have the absolute hell beat out of you. If you thought what Fawn and I did up to this point was rough, it’s nothing compared to what you’re about to go through,” Chad promises me, his voice hitting me in the face as he leans down close and I feel his spittle hit me in the face.

“I’m not signing a damn thing, Chad. You willneverget your hands on my money for any reason. You’ve done nothing to gain even a fraction of it. If anything, you should be paying me for dealing with you for so fucking long. You’re a manipulative, abusive, piece of shit who wants everything he’s not entitled to. I hope to hell your loan shark ruins every single one of you. And Fawn, I hope you fucking know that you’re included in that shit. If you’re with him, the loan shark will include you in ways to get his money from him. They won’t just kidnap you until he pays either. They’ll rape and torture you until you’re begging them to end your life,” I state as strong as I can despite the pain filling my throat and mouth from the beatings I’ve sustained so far.

“That’s a lie. No one knows about me,” Fawn tries to say, her voice wavering in hesitation as confusion fills her while Chad remains silent and the other person starts laughing.

“She’s not wrong. They know about you, Fawn. These people know everything. That’s one of the reasons I’m here today. I’m here to make sure this girl signs her name on the dotted line by any means necessary,” the third person says, his voice cold and lethal, sending another chill through my body because I have a feeling this is not going to end well for me.

“Chad! How could you do this to me?” Fawn shrieks, making my head hurt even worse as her voice echoes off the empty room walls. “You promised me nothing would happen and that this would all blow over.”

“That was before she refused to sign the papers. If she had simply signed when I first got her here, this would all be over with already and I wouldn’t need to pay money back to anyone,” Chad says as if he truly believes what he’s telling her.

Yes, the amount of money I have to my name now would last me multiple lifetimes. Even with a family of my own, I’d never spend it all in my lifetime. Especially with me investing money in various things with the help of Hawk and Cash. My grandma taught me how to save my money and not just spend it. She’s the real reason why I never spent a penny of it on her treatments and to save her life. Grandma didn’t want me to use the money on her life because she wants it for me and the family I have some day. She refused to allow me to spend any of it on anything medical related.

“How are we doing this? I don’t really like her in the chair,” the third guy says as my body tenses up once more and I wait for the first hit to come.

“Where do you want her?” Fawn questions him, her voice all sugary sweet as I hear her shuffle around and move so she’s standing closer to where the third person’s voice is from.

“I want her strapped to the table I have in the back of my car. Chad, you can go out and get it for me. Set it up in the living room and make sure no one else is here when you go outside,” the asshole says as I wait for Chad to bitch and moan about having to do something when others are around.

Instead, he leaves the room and I listen as Fawn and the asshole start making out. Their kisses are wet and sloppy as they stumble around the room and slam into me two different times causing horrendous pain shooting through my body.

“We’ll get her to sign the papers today and then I’ll ensure Chad hands them over to me before he can turn them in to his lawyer. I’ll hand them over to my guy and he’ll get them filed under my name. It won’t take much for it to go through and we’ll have all the money, Baby,” Fawn says when they stop kissing and I hear Chad stumbling around and things crashing in a different room.

“How are you gonna get her into a different room and strapped to the table? She’ll fight and run from here if we just let her walk out there with a hand on her arm or something,” the asshole asks Fawn and I hear her start to cackle before she whispers something in his ear that I can’t quite hear but know doesn’t bode well for me.

After a minute, I listen as the guy moves closer to me. In seconds, his fist lands against my temple and I’m knocked out once again.

When I start to wakeup once again, everything is different based on what I’m feeling. Instead of feeling the cold metal of the chair against certain parts of my body, now my entire body is freezing cold as metal presses against me from my head down to my heels. My bra and panties are still on at this point. I can feel harsh straps burning into my wrists and ankles as I try to move around a little bit. My ankle is on fire, it hurts more than any other part of my body. The strap pressing against the open skin and wounds from the gate and the burning sensation is overwhelming. My entire body is freezing cold but I feel as if I’m burning up at the same time. I have a pretty good feeling an infection has set in and I now have a fever.

“When are you gonna start this shit?” Chad questions the asshole as they all share the same room with me.

“Do you want her to sign the papers or not? I can’t have her sign the papers if I injure her more than you already have. You two have done a number on her and she’s not gonna make it much longer if I start already,” asshole says, his voice void of emotion as I try to pry my eyes open far enough to get a look at the man in front of me to no avail.

“She has to sign the papers. It’s the only way we get the money, Chad,” Fawn says, her voice high and shrill.

“Then get them and we’ll get her to sign them before we unleash him on her. I don’t give a fuck if she dies or not. What I care about is the money. It’s always been about the money and nothing more than that,” Chad states with a smug voice.

“You faked it with her this entire time?” the asshole questions Chad with a chuckle to his voice.

“Of course. I would never fucking date someone like this seriously. She’s not easy and it took forever for her to give me her virginity. That’s all it took for her to fall in love with me,” Chad boasts and I can picture the smug look on his face with his eyes narrowed into slits and his lips quirked up in that smirk he has perfected.

“That’s hysterical as fuck,” Fawn says, laughter filling her voice as she looks at me and I feel her eyes raking over my body. “I can see how hard it would be for you, or anyone, to get hard and fuck her. I bet she was vanilla as fuck and wouldn’t know kink if it bit her in the ass.”

“Oh, I got her to do a few things while we were together. That’s why it was so easy to cheat on her when I went to college. Hell, I never thought of her the second I drove away from her,” Chad answers and I can hear them laughing together while my heart shatters into a million pieces all over again.

I am completely over Chad and hate him with every ounce of rage I have to put on someone. Truly, I never understood the word loathing until after everything went down with Chad. Now to hear him describing what he did to me as if it were nothing to him breaks something deep down in my soul I never thought he could touch again. It feels as if he’s talking about someone else while I experience everything for the second time.

“I can’t believe you managed to get Little Miss Innocent over here to do more than missionary,” Fawn says as I feel a knife run against my skin but doesn’t slice into the flesh like I’m expecting.

“Who the fuck is getting the papers for the bitch to sign?” the asshole asks and his voice washes over me with a cool chill as terror fills me.

“I’ll get them,” Chad says as I hear his footsteps walk out of the room and the living room remains quiet and I try to figure out where Fawn and the asshole are.

When I hear Chad’s steps move back toward me, I brace myself for the upcoming battle I know I’m about to go through. The only good part of this entire situation is that I’ll get at least one of my wrists released. If my hand is restrained, I won’t be able to sign my name on anything. Hell, even with my wrist released, I won’t be able to sign anything because my wrist is broken and I can’t feel my fingers at this point. Half of my hand is even numb.

“Give her the pen and make her sign them, Chad. We need to get this over with. The quicker she signs the sooner we’ll be able to leave this fucking place. I’m tired of being here with no running water and no electricity. This place is a damn nightmare and I’m ready to be back in reality,” Fawn says, her voice that fake, sugary sweetness she seems to have perfected.
